Die weltweit ansteigende  Neuinstallation ist ein Segen für die gesamte Windbranche.

Schau dir mal an, was dort der Windstrom kostet und dann der aus Kraftwerken....das erkläre denen mal, warum sie da mehr zahlen sollten....

Ich wunder mich immer noch warum das keinen hier interessiert, wenn der Windmarkt so massiv anhzieht und im 2. Halbjahr nochmal um 30% zum Vorhalbjahr wachsen soll.

Nebenbei, du und Cordie schreibt hier so viel und so oft dass man da schnell den Überblick verliert.

ich hab die Information nur ins Forum gestellt! Wieso bin ich ein Puscher weinn ich aktuelle Infos hier einstelle? Sollte man als Nordexaktionär nicht froh über jede Information sein?

Weiterhin wundert es mich sehr, dass diese Info hier keinen Interessiert, da sie doch sehr interessant für eine Investmententscheidung in der Windbranche ist.

Canada’s wind energy sector is gusting towards record territory this year.

According to data from the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA), an estimated 1,338 megawatts (MW) of new wind energy installations are on track to set a record for new capacity built in Canada in a single year. The predicted numbers this year almost double the 2010 levels of 690 MW, CanWEA said. Although Canada, recently, has been known more for crude oil from the Alberta oil sands, the report released on Canada’s new wind installments for this year provided some good news to Canada on the renewable energy front, considering the criticism it has received on both the building of a new pipeline to transfer oil from the Alberta tar sands to the United States, and a lack of coherent clean energy policy among the Canadian federal government.

CanWEA president Robert Hornung said on its website that Canada is starting to become a very aggressive place for investments in the sector. Hornung added that strong targets for wind installations plus solid government policy will help Canada become a major player in the global wind industry.

Some of the major factors regarding the growth of Canada’s wind capacity in 2011 include creating new supplies of energy to meet demand, with minimal environmental impact, while creating economic opportunities in both rural Canada and industrial sectors.

With the added 1,338 MW of new power created by the end of the year, Canada’s total wind power capacity capacity will reach about 5,300 MW, more than 27 times the amount of wind power installed ten years ago (in 2001) — 198 MW, according to CanWEA. The association predicts that an extra 6,000 MW will be added over the next five years, with new projects set all over the country.

Out of all provinces, new wind installations from Ontario lead the way this year, with a targeted 500 MW of wind power capacity. While Ontario may lead the way with new wind capacity installed this year, other projects across the country, including the St. Joseph wind farm in Manitoba and Nova Scotia’s Watts Wind project, will help continue to blow Canada’s wind industry in the right direction.

LONDON -- Wind power was the largest contributor of new power capacity contracted at two recent power auctions in Brazil, according to GWEC.

Of 3.9 GW of contracted projects, 1,922 MW went to wind power developers. Not only were the overall prices considerably lower than in previous auctions, wind projects apparently succeeded in undercutting generation costs for projects based on natural gas. These new contracts bring Brazil's pipeline for wind farms under construction up to more than 5 GW, the trade group says, in addition to the more than 1 GW already in operation.

Such developments inevitably attract headlines, particularly given increasing interest in the Brazilian and wider Latin American renewable energy markets. And, in Brazil as with many other nations, this push towards a low-carbon energy complex is supported by aggressive policy measures, which will look at in a feature in this issue.

But, behind the headlines, the success or otherwise of the wind energy market largely stands on the cost of energy produced. As the market becomes more mature this is a trend which is expected to become more prevalent as subsidies and support schemes ultimately diminish.

Keeping competitive rests on the ability to produce energy at the lowest costs, and this is more and more a function of keeping wind turbines operating for as much of the time as possible. As the headline reliability issues of previous generations of turbine are resolved –through experience, more advanced designs and materials and so on – major components such as drivetrains, generators and blades are less likely to fail.

A NUMBER of companies with local and foreign interests are exploring the possibility of meeting some of Barbados’ electricity needs at a lower cost, through wind energy.

They have already approached the Barbados Light & Power Company Limited (BL&P) which is sold on the idea, even as its larger proposed wind turbine project at Lamberts, St Lucy, remains in limbo.

Although not divulging the identity of the entities, BL&P chief marketing manager Stephen Worme said the power company had been approached by organisations “that have a local component with foreign interests” about the possibility of their putting up wind turbines at three or four locations  and feeding the power back  to the grid.

“They are going through a process of seeking approval from Town and Country Planning and also looking at the overall viability of the project from their point of view,” he said in an interview with the DAILY NATION yesterday. (DP)
