MOSCOW (AFX) - Foreign direct investment stood at 1.467 bln usd in the first
quarter, up 42.8 pct from the year earlier, the State Statistics Committee said.
Total foreign investment in the period was 6.17 bln usd, down 1.5 pct.
Germany remained the leading foreign investor in Russia, followed by the US,
Cyprus, the UK, France and the Netherlands.
Russian investments abroad stood at 4.2 bln usd in the first quarter, up
33.9 pct.
