Heron Resources Provides Exploration Update


Heron Resources announced promising results from its fully funded and ongoing exploration programs at the Bedonia and Rocky Gully nickel-copper sulphide projects in WA. Exploration targets have been identified at the wholly-owned Bedonia nickel project. The project is underlain by rocks of the Proterozoic Mount Andrews Migmatites and contains a number of magnetic features (10 current targets) that may be related to intrusive mafic rocks (the host rocks for the Nova nickel-copper discovery). In addition to the magnetic features in the project area, the company has re-processed airborne electromagnetic data from a previous uranium exploration program and has generated a number of potential bedrock conductive zones. While ground follow-up is required, such conductors in the Bedonia region may be related to nickel-copper-sulphide mineralisation.
