Up to now, it sounds like Ebates is all about giving money away, so there must be some sort of cost to use it. In fact, Ebates is completely free for you to use. There are no sign-up or subscription fees.

dürften die Ebates Gross Merchandies Sales  daher nach meinen Schätzung bei knapp 9 Milliarden US-Dollars liegen.

Wenn Ebates auch nur 5% davon abbekommt, was meines Erachtens eher eine sehr knappe Schätzung ist, würde das zu Erlösen bei Ebates von ca.450 Millionen führen. Und das bei Kosten, die meines Erachtens mit steigenden Erlösen kaum mitstiegen.

Die 15 Milliarden wie bei den Chinesen sehe ich zwar nicht, aber ein Umsatzmultiple von 10 bei einem nach meiner Einschätzung hoch profitablem Unternehmen, das zudem auch noch ordentlich wächst, kann ich mir schon vorstellen.

Und das wären 4,5 Milliarden.

Und in Q4/17 hatte Raktuen - in der nachstehenden Übersicht nur einmal vorkommend - einen kleinen Quartalsverlust ausgewiesen. Dieser Negativwert verschwindet aber vermutlich in wenigen Wochen dann auch bei Run-Rate-Rechnern wie Bloomberg und Wallstreet Journal, wenn sie Q4/16 nicht mehr in ihre Rechnung einbeziehen.

Ich wurde beispielsweise eine Aktie mit einen KGV von über 50, abnehmenden Gewinnen und einem Kurs-Buch-Verhältnis von über 10 sofort verkaufen und die Erlöse in Rakuten-Aktien investieren.

ob die folgenden Gewinne  einbezogen werden sollten:

Verteilt auf die umlaufenden Aktien geht es dann um 15,9 Yen pro Aktie.

Dadurch würde der Gewinn aus 811 pro Aktie von 65,68 Yen um diese 15,9 Yen sinken, womit wir bei  49,78 Yen lägen, was bei  einem Kurs von 1014 aif ein KGV von 20,4 hinausliefe.

den Gewinn in Q3/16 allerdings nicht um diese 15,9 Yen - und ich halte das auch für angemessen.

Denn Rakuten hat in den letzten Jahren seine Strategie radikal umgestellt: Statt überall mit eigenen Angeboten präsent zu sein, investiert man erhebliche Summen zusammen mit anderen Investoren in Unternehmen, die Erfolg versprechen wie Lyft, Careem und andere. Insofern sind dortige Wertsteigerungen keine außerordentlchen Gewinne, die herausgerechnet werden müssen, sondern normale Gewinn aus dem Unternehmenszweck resultierend.

Daher halte ich auch den Gewinn von 65,58 Yen für die angemessene Größe - und nicht einem um 15,9 Yen reduzierten Gewinn von 49,78.

Insofern ist für ich auch 15,4 das momentane adäquate KGV und nicht das meines auch noch niedrige KGV von 20,4.
