CONCORD, Ontario, April 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On The Go Technologies Group (OTC Bulletin Board: OGHC) ('the Company', 'OTG'), a leading multi-industry computer hardware, software and peripherals VAR and systems integrator, and corporate multimedia digital service solutions provider, announced today that they have received a $500,000 hardware order from Canada's largest and most prestigious securities and wealth management firm. The order, set to ship in the next few weeks, consists of Cisco fibre switches and HP Blade systems.
At present, this long time client and Canada's largest independent financial advisory network manages and administers approximately $51 billion in assets, with 1,887 independent financial advisors and 517 insurance agents located in approximately 651 independent offices across Canada.
'As this client has evolved and grown with the changing opportunities in Canada's financial services industry, as has the strength of our client- supplier relationship. We anticipate providing for their IT sales and service needs for some time to come,' commented OTG President and CEO Stuart Turk. The jump in revenue is due to the Company's acquisition of medical sector VAR Island Corporation and digital entertainment reseller Solutions in Computing last quarter, as well as the collective organic growth of the Company's other sales and service divisions.
