Jacksonville, FL, Oct. 15, 2001 - Website Pros, a leading provider of Website Design and support services, today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of NetObjects, Inc (OTCBB:NETO), creating the industry`s leading provider of Web site building, design and support services for major partners that target small businesses customers worldwide.
The acquisition of NetObjects allows Website Pros to offer the industry`s leading platforms for delivering value-added services through trusted brands- NetObjects Matrix and NetObjects Fusion to major partners worldwide. Website Pros is the leading provider of Website Design and support services and has built over 40,000 Web sites for small business customers of key partners such as Dell, Office Depot, Verizon, and Yahoo.
Since 1995, NetObjects pioneered Web site building with over 5 million Web sites built using NetObjects products and services. Over 10 million copies of NetObjects Fusion have been bundled by the industry`s major brands such as Dell, Deutsche Telekom, Earthlink, HP, and IBM. NetObjects recently launched NetObjects Matrix, the next generation online platform for providing critical Web services to small businesses through partners.
