Das gute Stück steigt langsam aber stetig seit 2 Wochen nach oben und keiner merkts. Konnte keine News finden, aber vielleicht steht hier was Grosses an aus dem aktuellen Bohrprogramm des Joint Ventures mit Newmont Mining  o. aus einem der weiteren zehn Projekte.

Assays are pending for the six remaining holes. Miranda has not yet evaluated the implications of the drill results but plans to do so by updating its 3-D model.

Drill samples were collected with a reverse circulation drill using five-foot sample intervals. All samples were sent to ALS Chemex Inc. of Reno, Nev., for sample preparation and for analysis.

Gold results were determined using standard fire assay techniques on a 30-gram sample with an atomic absorption finish. Strict systematic quality control/quality assurance (QA/QC) protocols are followed including the insertion of standards and blanks into the sample stream.

Horse Mountain exploration update

Barrick Gold Corp. has informed Miranda that drilling at the Horse Mountain project is scheduled to begin in mid-October. The drill program will include four to five holes for a total of approximately 10,000 feet (3,048 metres). The program will include a follow-up to mineralization in drill hole BHM-001 drilled in 2005. Results for this hole, which had been released on Dec. 15, 2005, are presented in one of the tables.

The data disclosed in this news have been reviewed and verified by company senior geologist, Steven Koehler, PGeo, BSc, geology, and qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Das zweite Bohrloch BRH-012, das ca. 1.900 Fuß westlich von BRH-013 liegt, schnitt mehrere Zonen mit alteriertem und oxidiertem Karbonatgestein in der unteren Platte, die erhöhte Werte von Arsen und anderen Spurenelementen aufwiesen. Die Goldwerte von Bohrloch BRH-012 weisen keine signifikanten Anomalien auf. Beide Bohrlöcher wurden bis in eine Tiefe von 2.200 Fuß vorangetrieben.

Mit einem Reverse Circulation-Bohrer wurden in Abständen von fünf Fuß Bohrproben entnommen. Alle Proben wurden zur Aufbereitung und Analyse an das Inspectorate Laboratory in Sparks, Nevada, geschickt. Die Golduntersuchungen wurden anhand von 30-Gramm-Pulps mittels Standard-Brandprobentechniken und Atomabsorptionsmessung ermittelt. Strenge Protokolle über Qualitätskontrolle/Qualitätssicherung (“QA/QC”) werden eingehalten, wobei Standard-, Doppel- und Leerproben eingefügt wurden. Eine erneute Untersuchung des mineralisierten Intervalls in Bohrloch BRH-013 bestätigte die ursprünglichen Ergebnisse, wie aus der nachstehenden Tabelle ersichtlich:

Die Lundin Familie hat sich auch bei Miranda eingekauft, wie am 14.09.2007 bekanntgegeben wurde. Die Familie hat  eine kanadische Gesellschaft mit einer Cap. von 4,7 Milliarden Dollar !

Im Placement hatte Miranda seine Interessen voll durchgesetzt und konnte einen Warrentpreis von 1,5$ ansetzen. Somit zeigt sich, welche Kurserwartung alle Beteiligten von Miranda haben.

... ausserdem ist es immer gut, einen finanziell potenten Geldgeber als Investor zu haben.

Wie ich hörte hat sich der RSR Miranda angenommen. Gut möglich, dass die den Titel weiter covern. Warum nicht? Wenn er dem Aktionär gute Chancen bietet, kein Thema.

Von allen Blättern, ist der RSR mein persönlicher Favorit. Die meisten BBs kann man getrost vergessen. Der RSR hat eine gute Performance vorzuweisen.  

Gold ist heute schon wieder schön im Plus! Kurzfristig könnte Gold etwas korrigieren. Mittel und langfristig muss Gold steigen, wegen der Geldmenge derzeit.

Miranda im Brief mit 0,91 Euro Cent. Könnte ein Tag unter Pari werden. 5 k werde ich noch nachkaufen heute Mittag.

Sehr gut! Der naechste Kanada Brief liegt bei 1,33  $ pari 0,94 Euro. Deutschland ist derzeit noch einen Tick guenstiger.

Irgendeinen GRUND muss es doch geben, wieso der CHART der Miranda Gold Corp. (WKN: 900519; ISIN: CA6046731031; Symbol: MRDDF) gegen Ende JULI 2010 plötzlich so auffällig wird.

To date, Montezuma's drilling has been permitted through a Notice of Intent (NOI) with the Bureau of Land Management. The NOI limits surface disturbance to a maximum of 5 acres (2 hectares). A Plan of Operations/Permit for Reclamation (POO) was filed in March 2010 with the Bureau of Land Management and is expected to be approved later this year. The POO will allow for the drilling of 31 holes in the first phase. When complete, the POO will allow for up to 24.6 acres (9.96 hectares) of surface disturbance and increased flexibility in drill testing a variety of targets across the project.

The Red Canyon project includes 254 unpatented lode mining claims (7.9 square miles / 20.6 square kilometers) on the Battle Mountain-Eureka Trend and adjoins U.S. Gold's Tonkin Springs property to the west. The project covers an erosional "window" that exposes hydrothermally altered and brecciated lower-plate carbonate rocks that are age equivalent to the rocks hosting the Cortez Hills gold deposit"...

"Vancouver (British Columbia, Kanada), 21. Juli 2010. Miranda Gold Corp. (Miranda) (TSX-V: MAD) gibt bekannt, dass sein Explorationsfinanzierungspartner Montezuma Mines Inc. (Montezuma), ein 100%-Tochterunternehmen von CMQ Rsources Inc., mit den Reverse-Circulation-Bohrungen bei Red Canyon, einem sedimenthaltigen Goldprojekt in Eureka County (Nevada), begonnen hat. Es ist ein 7.200 Fuß (2.195 Meter) umfassendes Bohrprogramm mit acht Bohrlöchern geplant.

Montezumas Bohrungen werden versuchen, die Ergebnisse von MR09-05C eines Kernbohrlochs aus dem Jahr 2009, das konzipiert wurde, um die bekannte Goldmineralisierung auf Red Canyons Grundstück Ice nachzuverfolgen, das 119 Fuß mit 0,152 Unzen Au/t (36,28 Meter mit 5,25 g/t Au) durchschnitten hat, zu erweitern. Dieses Ergebnis bestätigt die Ergebnisse von KR-001, eines Reverse-Circulation-Bohrlochs, das 95 Fuß mit 0,117 oz/t Au zwischen 20 und 115 Fuß (29,0 Meter mit 4,012 g/t Au zwischen 6,1 und 35,1 Meter) durchschnitt. Der Gehalt war jedoch um 30 %, die Mächtigkeit um 25 % höher. Miranda Gold Signs New Exploration Funding Agreement for Angel Wing

"Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA, August 05, 2010 /FSC/ - Miranda Gold Corp.  (MAD - TSX Venture), announces the termination of the exploration funding agreement with White Bear Resources Inc. and subsequently a new exploration funding agreement with Ramelius Resources Ltd. ("Ramelius") (ASX: RMS) on Miranda's Angel Wing project.

Under the terms of the agreement, Ramelius will fund US$4,000,000 in qualifying expenditures over a five-year period as an initial exploration expenditure.  Ramelius can then earn a 70% interest in Angel Wing by completing a positive feasibility study over a four-year period or by annually funding $1,000,000 in exploration and development during the next 10 years. The first year's commitment of $350,000 is an obligation and includes a minimum of 4,000 ft (1,219m) of drilling.

Ramelius plans to conduct detailed mapping, rock chip sampling, expansion of the soil geochemistry grid and geophysics to refine the strike and dip of the epithermal veins at Angel Wing.  In areas where the veins are poorly exposed, IP/resistivity geophysics is being considered as a tool to guide the placement of drill holes.

Project details

The Angel Wing project consists of 87 unpatented lode claims (7.3 sq km) in northeast Elko County, Nevada. Past work has consisted principally of mapping and sampling. High-grade, surface samples up to 2.700 oz Au/t (92.5g Au/t) occur in steeply dipping quartz-calcite-adularia "bonanza" veins within Triassic limestone. The high-grade veins remain untested by drilling in a zone measuring one mile (1.6 km) along strike, 1,200 ft (366 m) wide and at depth. Surface sampling has also identified disseminated, sediment-hosted gold mineralization up to 0.044 oz Au/t (1.507 g Au/t) in silicified and clay altered Paleozoic and Tertiary rocks. Historic past shallow, vertical drilling targeted disseminated mineralization, returned up to 0.047 oz Au/t over 50 ft (1.609 g Au/t over 15.2m) in drill hole DC-7.

Navaho ist ein Tochterunternehmen von D'Aguilar Gold Ltd. (ASX: DGR). Das Unternehmen konzentriert sich in erster Linie auf die Exploration und Erschließung von Goldmineralisierungen vom Typ Carlin. Das Miranda-Projekt TAZ befindet sich innerhalb des Goldtrends Battle Mountain-Eureka, ungefähr 26 Meilen (42 km) nordwestlich von Eureka/Nevada. Das Projekt besteht aus 142 nicht patentierten Konzessionsgebieten, die sich über eine Fläche von 4,6 Quadratmeilen (11,9 km²) erstrecken. Das Grundstück liegt entlang der Randzone eines in nord-südlicher Richtung verlaufenden Karbonatfensters, wo aufgrund der Verwerfung des Roberts Mountains Thrust aus dem Devon stammender Kalkstein der Gesteinsformationen von Denay und Devils Gate zutage tritt. Der aus dem Devon stammende Kalkstein gilt als günstiges Muttergestein für in Sedimentgestein eingebettete Goldsysteme, wie man sie z.B. in den Lagerstätten Cortez Hills, Pipeline und Gold Bar in Nevada findet. Die Verwerfung und die in west-nordwestlicher bzw. ost-nordöstlicher Richtung verlaufenden Bruchzonen sind stellenweise ausgebleicht und verwittert bzw. von Brekzien- und Silikatgestein durchsetzt.

Im Rahmen der früheren Explorationsaktivitäten bei TAZ konzentrierte man sich auf disseminierte Goldmineralisierungen in der Oxidschicht nahe der Oberfläche. In den Gesteinssplitterproben fanden sich Werte im Bereich von unterhalb der Nachweisgrenze bis zu 0,026 Unzen Gold/Tonne (0,892 g Au/t) und erhöhte geochemische Werte vom Typ Carlin (1600 ppm Arsen, 185 ppm Antimon und 9,6 ppm Quecksilber).

Zu den historischen Bohrergebnissen aus Loch VC96-8, das sich innerhalb des aktuellen Konzessionsgebiets befindet, zählt auch ein Abschnitt von 70 Fuß mit 0,042 Unzen Gold/Tonne in 215 bis 285 Fuß Tiefe (21,3 m mit 1,44 g Gold/Tonne in 65,5 bis 86,9 m Tiefe), der innerhalb einer 135 Fuß mächtigen Zone mit 0,025 Unzen Gold/Tonne in 215 bis 350 Fuß Tiefe (41,2 m mit 0,86 g Au/t in 65,5 bis 106,7 m Tiefe) gefunden wurde. Das Bohrloch endete in 350 Fuß (106,7 m) Tiefe; die letzte Probe aus den letzten 5 Fuß (1,5 m) lieferte einen Goldgehalt von 0,005 Unzen/Tonne (0,175 g Au/t).

Eine der ersten Aufgaben bei den Bohrungen auf dem Projekt TAZ ist es, das Loch VC96-08, das in einer anomalen Mineralisierung endete, zu versetzen und tiefer zu bohren, um in anderen günstigen Bereichen des Muttergesteins nach höhergradigen Goldmineralisierungen in den tieferen Schichten des Karbonatgesteins zu suchen.

Drilling Commences at Miranda Gold's Red Hill Project

"Miranda Gold Corp. ("Miranda") (TSX-V: MAD) announces that Miranda's exploration funding partner NuLegacy Corporation ("NuLegacy") has begun drilling on Miranda's Red Hill project in Eureka County, Nevada. NuLegacy has permitted five holes and plans to drill up to 5,000 ft (1,524 m).

Three target areas will be tested including 1) a geophysical (Induced Polarization) resistivity and conductivity high anomaly approximately 3,280 ft (1,000 m) long inferred to reflect Carlin-style alteration and mineralization at a depth of 500 ft (152 m), 2) an area of anomalous rocks and soils associated with jasperoid and low-level anomalous gold in historic shallow drill holes, and 3) an area approximately 2,000 ft by 4,000 ft (600 m by 1,200 m) with alteration and a gold and mercury soil anomaly.

Project Details

Red Hill is a sediment-hosted gold project consisting of 79 lode claims covering 2.6 sq mi (6.7 sq km) that is located 15 miles (24 km) southeast of the 12 million ounce Cortez Hills gold deposit. The Red Hill project occurs within a window of lower-plate limestone exposed through chert and siliceous sediments of the upper-plate of the Roberts Mountains Thrust. It is one of a series of windows and associated gold deposits that define the Cortez Trend. The project covers an extensive area of hydrothermal alteration occurring within fault zones in and pervasively in lower-plate sediments"...

The geology of the East Spruce property and peripheral areas include north-northwest and northeast-trending faults, and a north-northwest-trending anticlinal fold of Lower Permian Pequop / Rib Hill Formations and the Pennsylvanian Riepe Spring Limestone. The Rib Hill Formation is a known host to gold mineralization in the Star Pointer gold deposit in the Robinson Mining District near Ely, Nevada. The project is 0.5 mi (0.8 Km) northeast of Cretaceous quartz/granite porphyry intrusive rocks historically explored for molybdenum and copper in the Spruce Mountain Mining District.  

Notably, many significant Carlin-style deposits such as Goldstrike, Pipeline and Cortez Hills occur along the margins of intrusive rocks with associated folding.

Replacement silicification with anomalous gold occurs proximal to the north-northwest axis of the anticline and along north-south and northeast-trending fault zones in the anticlinal limb areas. The fold is about 2 mi (3.2 km) long by 1.5 mi (2.4 km) wide. The north-trending fault zone projects into pediment to the south.

At the north end of the property, gold values in rocks are anomalous over a strike length of 2,000 ft (610 m) in a silicified and decalcified north-south fault zone hosted by fossiliferous limestone of the Lower Pequop Formation.  Seven rock samples collected along the 2,000 ft-long trend range from 0.004 to 0.016 oz Au/t (0.148 to 0.548 g Au/t) with anomalous silver, arsenic, mercury, and a variable antimony, lead, and zinc association. Anomalous lead and zinc may reflect distal zoning from the porphyry system to the southwest.

Minor historic drilling is indicated from existing reclamation at the East Spruce property. No information is currently available from that drilling.

Miranda plans to advance the project and surrounding area with additional sampling and mapping to further understand a northeast-trending gold-bearing system that covers an area of 2.5 mi (4 km) long and 0.75 mi (1.2 km) wide.

NuLegacy Gold Acquires Balance of the Red Hill Prospect

"NuLegacy GOLD Corporation (TSX-V: NUG) reports it has signed an agreement that incorporates MIRANDA Gold Corp.’s two square mile Coal Canyon property in Eureka
County, Nevada into NuLegacy’s Red Hill Prospect.

Dr. Roger Steininger, COO of NuLegacy Gold says, “With this acquisition NuLegacy Gold
completes the district scale consolidation of the 45 square mile Red Hill Prospect with the JD carbonate “window” in the eastern portion and the Coal Canyon “window” in the western portion (also referred to as the Windmill Window). Between the two “windows” a thin veneer of volcanic rocks covers similar carbonate units that likely connect the two. This is the largest and least explored of the five carbonate windows in the Cortez Segment, four of which host major Carlintype gold deposits.”

The Red Hill Prospect is in the south end of the Cortez Segment of the Battle Mountain-Eureka trend, and is immediately between Barrick Gold’s Cortez Hills operation to the north and US Gold’s Tonkin Springs operation to the south. Most of the historical exploration on these properties was conducted years ago when the operators were searching for near surface (less than 500 feet) heapleachable oxide gold resources.

NuLegacy Gold believes the Red Hill Prospect’s geology is similar to that which hosts the existing four Carlin-type deposits in the Segment, and these multi-million ounce deposits have their largest and best resources at depths between 500 and 1,200 feet"...

Miranda Gold Options Five Properties in Colombia

"Miranda Gold Corp. ("Miranda") (TSX-V: MAD) announces the acquisition of five new properties through its Colombian subsidiary, Miranda Gold Colombia II Ltd. ("Miranda Gold Colombia"). The Cajamarca, Ibague, Fresno, Santander and Anori projects are optioned from ExpoGold Colombia S.A. ("ExpoGold") and are subject to the Association Agreement between Miranda and ExpoGold.

Miranda has the right to acquire 100% of each of the five concessions by issuing 10,000 shares of Miranda common stock and making initial payments of US$10,000 to ExpoGold per property. Under the government of Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, in office from 2002 to 2010, security issues impeding investment and exploration were diminished dramatically and now both major and junior gold companies are entering Colombia to conduct exploration. The well known Fraser Institute, which compares the relative favorability of mining jurisdictions with a range of metrics including political risk, reported in 2008 that Colombia is now comparable to Alberta, Canada and Ghana in overall exploration favorability. In the context of gold exploration, Colombia is now "open for business" as one of the least explored countries of South America and is a new frontier for the discovery of world class gold deposits.


Why Colombia for Miranda Gold?

Miranda's technical strength is in generating prospects that provide targets for world-class gold deposits. Colombia has a similar gold potential to Nevada for very similar geologic reasons. In addition, what Miranda Gold's technical team is capable of in Nevada, it can also do in Colombia.

Nevada will continue to be Miranda Gold's main focus for exploration. However, Nevada is a very mature exploration terrain. This means that while many quality deposits await discovery in Nevada, the rate of discovery there has diminished as the "easy" deposits have been found. The rate of discovery in Colombia is on the upswing because it is an immature exploration terrain".

On the original Pavo Real concessions, sampling has identified two new anomalous areas of gold mineralization. The first area is approximately 600 m south of an area that up until recently was being mined by illegal miners. The area being mined had been off-limits to Miranda and Red Eagle while procedures were implemented to gain access and have the miners removed. The miners were working an area of anomalous gold in soils that has dimensions of 700 m long by 100 to 500 m wide. The soils anomaly contains approximately 30 known adits with significant sampled gold grades, The new zone, referred to as Quebrada Corosal, defined by 155 rock samples, is 340 m long and 137 m wide. Assays vary from below detection levels to a high of 45.7 g Au/t and average 1.29 g Au/t. The ground between this new anomaly and the area where the illegal miners were working has not yet been sampled.

The fourth area of anomalous gold is in the Quebrada Virgen drainage where 38 rock samples range from below detection limits to 9.80 g Au/t. Additional work is needed to see if these three target areas tie together"...

At the Chert Cliff deposit mineralization is hosted in Webb Formation siltstones in contact with lower massive Devonian limestone. Drilling near Chert Cliff by Platte River Gold Inc. ("Platte River") in 2008 intersected 55m at 0.450g Au/t in the Denay Formation outside of the Chert Cliff resource area. The drilling by Platte River confirms the potential for significant mineralization at depth in the Denay Formation on the Rook property.  

The Rook project has favorable host rocks, alteration, geochemistry, nearby drill results with significant mineralization, and small surface gold resources nearby, all consistent with large sediment-hosted gold systems in the Battle Mountain Eureka Trend. The Gold Bar deposits, reportedly contained a gold resource exceeding 1.5 million ounces of gold, is a target analogue for the Rook project.

Miranda plans to do additional mapping and surface sampling on Rook to identify drill targets. In accordance with Miranda's business model, a joint venture partner will be sought to further explore the project"...

Gold gains 1 pct, silver jumps on oil rally, Libya

"NEW YORK (Reuters) - Gold rose above $1,430 an ounce on Friday, while silver surged 3 percent to 31-year highs, as soaring oil prices fueled by widening clashes in Libya prompted investors to pile into safe havens.

Bullion hit a record high of $1,440.10 an ounce on Wednesday, notching its fifth consecutive weekly gain on fears that Libya's escalating unrest could spread across the Arab world.

Wall Street lost nearly 1 percent and the dollar declined as upbeat U.S. jobs data was offset by fears that rising political tensions in North Africa and the Middle East could crimp economic growth.

"It's really all about oil, and I suspect that's going to be the pattern next week as well. Gold's uncertainty hedge and ultimate currency roles continue to be very much in place," said Bill O'Neill, partner of LOGIC Advisors.

U.S. crude prices jumped to their highest levels since September 2008 as Libyan security forces cracked down on protesters in Tripoli and clashed with rebels near the major oil terminal of Ras Lanuf.

Spot gold hit a high of $1,431.85 an ounce and was up 0.8 percent at $1,427.31 by 2:08 p.m. EST (1908 GMT). Gold fixed at $1,427 in London.

U.S. gold futures for April delivery settled up $12.20 at $1,428.60, with volume down nearly 50 percent from the previous session and 30 percent below its 30-day average"...

Bohrungen auf Miranda Gold's Projekt Big Blue beginnen

"Vancouver (British Columbia, Kanada), 16. März 2011. MIRANDA Gold Corp. (TSX-V: MAD) (Miranda) gibt bekannt, dass die Bohrungen bei Big Blue, einem in Sediment enthaltenen Goldprojekt in LANDER County (Nevada), begonnen haben. Miranda's Explorations-Finanzierungspartner RAMELIUS Resources Ltd. (ASX: RMS) (Ramelius) plant, insgesamt 3.600 Fuß (1.097 Meter) in bis zu drei Bohrlöchern zu bohren. Dies ist Miranda's erstes Bohrprogramm der Saison 2011.

Das Gebiet, das im Rahmen dieser ersten Bohrphase erprobt werden wird, enthält Böden mit Goldwerten von nicht messbar bis zu 0,025 oz/t Gold (0,850 g/t Gold) und Gestein mit Goldwerten von nicht messbar bis zu 1,70 oz/t Gold (58,2 g/t Gold).

(Miranda) (TSX-V: MAD) hat ein Explorationsabkommen unterzeichnet, das dem Unternehmen die Möglichkeit eines Joint Venture (die Vereinbarung) mit Agnico-Eagle (USA) Limited (Agnico), einer 100 %-Tochter von Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (TSX:AEM), eröffnet und Agnico zum Erwerb einer Beteiligung von bis zu 70 % am Projekt Ester Dome in der Bergbauregion Fairbanks in Alaska berechtigt.

Gemäß dieser Vereinbarung, welche die am 14. Oktober 2010 bekannt gegebene Absichtserklärung ersetzt, kann Agnico durch Investition von 4.000.000 US$ über einen Zeitraum von 5 Jahren eine Beteiligung von 51 % am Projekt Ester Dome erwerben. Anschließend hat Agnico die Möglichkeit, durch Finanzierung einer bankfähigen Machbarkeitsstudie oder durch Investition von zusätzlich 10.000.000 US$ (in jährlichen Mindestraten von 1.000.000 US$) seinen Anteil um 19 % auf insgesamt 70 % zu erhöhen.

Mit Unterzeichnung dieser Vereinbarung verpflichtet sich Agnico, einen Betrag von 30.000 US$ an Miranda zu bezahlen und im ersten Jahr ein Budget von 500.000 US$ für die Exploration bereitzustellen"...

Drilling Begins at Miranda's Red Hill Project

"Miranda Gold Corp. ("Miranda") (TSX-V: MAD) is pleased to announce that drilling has begun on its Red Hill project located in the Cortez Trend of Nevada. Miranda's exploration funding partner, NuLegacy Gold Corporation (TSX-V: NUG) plans to drill four holes for a total of 6,000 ft (1,829 m). This is intended as the first of phase of the 2011 drill season. Later in the season NuLegacy will drill Miranda's Coal Canyon project.

A second drill campaign in 2011 will be decided after assay results from this drill program have been evaluated. NuLegacy has permitted a total of twelve sites at Red Hill of which four were drilled in 2010. Sites H, G, A and F will be drilled during this current phase.

All four drill holes will continue to test the Long Fault structural zone and associated 7,380 ft (2,250 m) by 3,300 to 9,900 ft (1,000 to 3,000 m) IP geophysical anomaly. Wide-spaced drilling in this target area by NuLegacy in 2010 confirmed the presence of disseminated pyrite and carbon alteration associated with anomalous gold and trace element mineralization.

Current drilling is targeting the contact between the Long Fault and the Horse Canyon Formation, a lower-plate limestone that hosts disseminated gold mineralization else-where in the Cortez area. Each hole will be approximately 1,500 ft (457 m) deep and will be angled to the south. Drill site locations can be viewed on the attached map"...

("Miranda") (TSX-V: MAD) freut sich bekannt zu geben, dass der für die Finanzierung der Explorationsarbeiten bei Red Canyon zuständige Partner Montezuma Mines Inc. ("Montezuma"), ein 100 %-Tochterunternehmen von CMQ Resources Inc. (TSX-V:NV), mit seinem Bohrprogramm 2012 bei Red Canyon begonnen hat. Montezuma wird voraussichtlich drei Zielgebiete erkunden, in denen insgesamt sechs bis sieben RC-Bohrlöcher (Umkehrspülverfahren) über rund 9.300 Fuß (2835 m) niedergebracht werden.

Zu den im Rahmen der Bohrungen zu erkundenden Zielgebieten zählen:

Ice: Hier werden zwei Löcher gebohrt, welche die 2011 im RC-Loch MR11-01 entdeckte Mineralisierung genauer untersuchen sollen. In diesem Loch wurde ein 20 Fuß mächtiger Abschnitt (6,1 m) mit 0,205 Unzen Au/Tonne (7,025 g Au/t) in einer Tiefe zwischen 110 und 130 Fuß (33,5-39,6 m) ermittelt.

("Miranda") (TSX-V: MAD) freut sich bekannt zu geben, dass der für die Finanzierung der Explorationsarbeiten bei Red Canyon zuständige Partner Montezuma Mines Inc. ("Montezuma"), ein 100 %-Tochterunternehmen von CMQ Resources Inc. (TSX-V:NV), mittlerweile alle Analyseergebnisse aus dem Anfang Dezember 2012 abgeschlossenen Bohrprogramm erhalten hat. Montezuma untersuchte drei Zielgebiete, in denen insgesamt sechs RC-Löcher (Umkehrspülverfahren) über rund 7.435 Fuß (2.266 m) gebohrt wurden. Nachdem in allen 2012 gebohrten Löchern anomale Goldmineralisierungen, die mit alteriertem Gestein in Verbindung stehen, durchteuft wurden, ist Montezuma sehr optimistisch und will deshalb die Bohrungen in der Bohrsaison 2013 fortsetzen.

(TSX-V: MAD) ("Miranda") beantragte bei der Agencia Nacional de Minería ("ANM") vier Explorationskonzessionen in zwei Erkundungsgebieten im Antioquia-Batholith. Miranda brachte die Anträge am 2. Juli 2013 ein - an jenem Tag, an dem ein zweijähriger Antragsstopp in Kolumbien aufgehoben wurde. Die Anträge umfassen insgesamt etwa 5.600 Hektar. Die beantragten Konzessionen befinden sich 48 bis 139 Kilometer nordöstlich von Medellín im Departamento Antioquia.

Die Explorationsarbeiten und die Kosten des neuen Antrags wurden im Rahmen einer strategischen Partnerschaft mit Agnico Eagle Mines Limited finanziert. Weitere Arbeiten werden ergeben, ob die Gebiete den Kriterien der Partnerschaft für ein geeignetes Konzessionsgebiet entsprechen (siehe Pressemitteilung vom 19. Februar 2013). .....

Vancouver (British Columbia, Kanada), 21. November 2013. Miranda Gold Corp. (TSX-V: MAD) ("Miranda") freut sich, ein Abkommen mit Alaska Hardrock Inc. ("AHI") bezüglich des Projektes Willow Creek bekannt zu geben, das 75 Meilen (121 Kilometer) nördlich von Anchorage (Alaska) liegt. Das Projekt ist über gut gewartete Straßen zugänglich, die während des gesamten Jahres befahrbar sind. Das Projekt Willow Creek umfasst den Großteil des Bergbaugebiets Willow Creek und beherbergt 74 patentierte Erzgangschürfrechte sowie 62 Erzgangschürfrechte, die sich im Besitz des Bundesstaates Alaska befinden (insgesamt etwa 8.700 Acres bzw. 3.520 Hektar).

Das Bergbaugebiet Willow Creek ist als der zweitgrößte historische Goldproduzent Alaskas bekannt. Vor 1950 wurden alleine im Gebiet Willow Creek fünf Prozent von Alaskas Erzganggold produziert. Die aufgezeichnete Goldproduktion zwischen 1911 und 1942 (als der unbedeutende Bergbau im Rahmen der Verordnung L-208 im Zweiten Weltkrieg geschlossen wurde) belief sich auf 667.000 Unzen mit einem Gehalt von 1,2 oz/t Gold (41,1 g/t). Das Gold von Willow Creek erfordert Meldungen zufolge keine Verarbeitung und weist alleine unter Anwendung einer Schwerkraftanlage eine Gewinnungsrate von über 80 Prozent auf; bei einer Schwerkraft- und Flotationsverarbeitung wurden Gewinnungsraten von über 95 Prozent gemeldet......[...]
