Umsatz, wenn er mit Verlusten verbunden war. Das war nicht immer so, denn lange Zeit hat man auch nicht rentable Geschäfte gemacht, wenn dadurch die User-Zahlen stiegen - dahinter stand die Hoffnung, diesen gewonnen Usern weitere Produkte verkaufen zu können.  Durch die Refokusierung auf das Kerngeschäft macht diese Strategie aber weniger Sinn, und weiterer Punkt dürfte sein, dass man sich ausschließlich aus dem Cash Flow zu finanzieren gedenkt, was bei Wachstum zu Lasten der Rentabilität nicht möglich wäre:

Das heißt nichts anderes, als dass der Net Loss von 3,586 Millionen, also der Verlust aus der Gewinn- und Verlustrechnung allein durch den Wegfall dieser Einmalposition schon auf 0,286 Millionen schrumpfen würde.

Ich halte es für wahrscheinlich, dass in Q3 nicht nur das EBITDA positiv ist, sondern auch das Adjusted Net Income (dessen Höhe ich in Q2 nicht kenne, das es als Zwischengröße im Bericht nicht vorkommt) und sogar ein GAAP-net-income anstelle des noch in Q2 vorhandenen GAAP-loss entsteht.

als sich das onkeljames und JaminGottfried nach meiner Einschätzung vorstellen können - und es ist ja auch nicht leicht da durchzusteigen, wenn man weniger in der Materie drinsteckt.

Da das ganze so komplex ist, fasse ich zusammen:

Ist für mich die logische Schlussfolgerung aus dem was du schreibst.

kann man feststellen, dass ich i.d.R. die Basis für meine Berechnungen angebe. Solange ein Adjusted Net Income veröffentlich wurde, habe ich dieses als Basis für meine Berechnungen genommen - das war die beste Lösung, weil die Verwendung dieser Größe, die in etwa dem deutschen Betriebsergebnis entspricht, die üblichste ist. Neben der Verwendung der Bezugsgröße Adusted Net Income wird aber auch häufig das EBITDA als Bezugsgröße genommen. Da seit einiger Zeit aber nur noch das GAPP-net-income/loss und das EBITDA angegeben wurde, blieb mir gar nichts anderes übrig, als auf die auch in meinen Augen zweitbeste Bezugsgröße zurückzugreifen - worauf ich i.d.R hingewiesen habe.

Wobei noch hinzugefüft werden muss, dass selbst die Aussagen "beste Lösung" oder "zweitbeste Lösung" problematisch sind, denn noch wichtiger ist der Untersuchungszweck.

Wenn man jetzt sowohl die Revenues als auch die EBITDAS zu den Marktkapitalsierungen in Beziehung setzt, kommt man zu derart absurden Divergenzen, die nie und nimmer länger Bestand haben werden, weil sie das Ergebnis von extremen Manipulatioen sind.

Yelp hat mit 55,0 Millionen den 2,4-fachen Umsatz von Local Corp mit seinern 22,7 Millionen, aber es ist grenzenlos absurd, dass Yelp mit 3.350 Millionen die 86-fache Marktkapitalisiérung von den schwachsinnig niedrigen 39 Millionen von Local Corp hat.

mit dem Faktor (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 36.

Würden Local Corps Umsätze so bewertet wie die von Yelp, müsste die Marktkapitalisierung von Local Coirp bei 36 * 39 =  1.404 Millionen liegen.

Of the hundreds of opinions preceding and immediately after the Facebook announcement, only a handful seemed to understand the implications, or lack of them, for search. Out of Facebook's total number of members only 100,000, or 0.01%, will trial Graph Search so its purpose as a meaningful search engine, if there is any at all, is years away. However, there is tremendous upside to Local Corporation (NASDAQ:LOCM) because any information culled from Facebook friends is bound to be skimpy and of dubious fact. Friends will inevitably turn to the Facebook search engine Bing, with which Local has an advertising partnership. And later when searching locally, they will ultimately use Local Corp.
