NEW YORK (Reuters) - Lehman Brothers analyst E. White on Wednesday said he was trimming his 2001 earnings estimates on Cymer Inc. (NASDAQ NM:CYMI), a supplier to the semiconductor industry.
In a research note, White said he was lowering his estimate to $2.55 per share from $2.80.
After the close of markets on Tuesday, Cymer said it was comfortable with analysts' fourth-quarter earnings estimates but was cautious about growth in the first half of 2001.
Shares of Cymer closed at $30-7/8 on the Nasdaq stock market on Tuesday, above a 52-week high of $16-1/8 but well below a year high of $67.
