HP (HPQ) today reported financial results for its second fiscal quarter ended April 30, 2003. Second quarter revenue totaled $18.0 billion, compared to $17.9 billion in the prior quarter, and non-GAAP(1) operating profit totaled $1.14 billion, up 4% sequentially. Non-GAAP operating profit was 6.4% of revenue, up from 6.2% of revenue in the prior quarter. Non-GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter was $0.29, in line with the company’s first fiscal quarter and two cents above recent analyst consensus estimates.
