Infomatec IIS AG sells ASP Austria GmbH Augsburg, January 3, 2001
Infomatec Integrated Information Systems AG (Security ID Code 622200)
announces the sale of its Austrian subsidiary Infomatec Application
Service Providing (Austria) GmbH. Effective 31 December 2000, the
company went to Dellington Industrial Venture Limited, headquartered
in Paphos/Cyprus, for a symbolic purchase price of 1 ATS. The number
of employees in the total Infomatec group decreases by 131. Monthly
costs reduce by roughly DM1.6 million. The transaction was a response
to the slower than anticipated development of the European ASP
(Application Service Providing) market and a logical further step in
the company's concentration on the Interactive TV segment and its
product CrossTV.
