Der neue CEO Walter Speck reißt endlich das Ruder rum und bringt das Unternehmen wieder in sichere Fahrwasser.

Das auf Leasing und Vertrieb von Elektroautos spezialisierte Unternehmen plant schon nächstes Jahr in die Gewinnzone zu rutschen und einer der führenden E-Mobil Vertriebe der USA zu werden. Durch die Kooperationen mit Chevrolet Volt, Nissan Leaf, Tesla Models, Toyota Plug-in Hybrids, BMW Electric Hybrid, Honda Accord Plug-in Hybids kann Evcarco auf alle gängigen Modelle für seine Kunden zurückgreifen.

Can you say California? Yep, that’s right, Fashion Valley Mall installed eVgo Freedom Station the first public electric car charging station to offer quick charging using the CCS plug, also known as “SAE Combo”… Congrats San Diego!

“San Diego, CA was not only the site of a big meeting of the minds for EV companies this week, it was also where a SAE Combo Fast Charging station has been installed – and used – for the first time. NRG built the station, which charged both a BMW i3 and a Chevy Spark EV, the two first cars on the market that can accept the new-fangled dongle.”

“The competing fast-charge solution is CHAdeMO, which works with properly equipped Nissan Leaf and Mitsubishi i EVs. The most current data from the CHAdeMO organization says there are 306 of these fast chargers in the US. The SAE Combo charger is supported by a wide variety of manufacturers, including GM and BMW, obviously, as well as Ford, Chrysler, Daimler and the Volkswagen family.”

The California governor signed a bill this week that leads the way for the building of a network of up to 100 H2 stations over the next decade. Lone Star State’s push for EV adoption has private companies step in to rally for Texas; Nissan and utility company NRG are offering a year’s worth of free electric charging for folks who buy Leaf EVs in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston areas between October 1 of this year and March 31, 2014. NOW THAT’S WORTH A BIG TEXAS YE-HAW!!

“The governor signed the bill (and other pro-EV items) as part of the Third Annual National Plug In Day celebrations, which took place this weekend in almost 100 cities around the world. AB 8 not only provides the extra money for zero-emission transportation – funded through new or increased vehicle fees – but also extends the program’s time frame to 2024. The state has long added a $2,500 EV rebate ($1,500 for plug-in hybrids) on top of the US federal government’s tax credit that is worth up to $7,500.”
