Introduction to the Dry Disaggregation System
The development of the Disaggregation Dry System, or DDS, began in 1964 and, after nearly 40 years of research and development, DDS Technologies USA Inc. (DDS USA) has acquired ownership of the patent and worldwide rights to the technology.
In the DDS process, fragments of organic matter endure violent accelerations and decelerations, causing the particles to be micronized and separated in relation to their specific weights. The end products or fractions, unattainable by other technologies, may have tremendous value both economically and nutritionally. By applying its patented disaggregation technology to biomass, DDS strives to create value-added, revenue-earning end products for our prospective customers.
Located in Boca Raton, FL, DDS USA owns the patent for dry disaggregation technology in the USA and Europe and has patent applications pending in most of the industrialized countries of the world.
Since October 2004, DDS has had an R&D machine operating in the Atlanta, GA area, currently located on the premises of our consulting engineers, Applied Technical Services. In September of this year, DDS will move into its own leased facility which will function as our R&D center and also house our toll milling business, which is in its early stage of development.
DDS has signed a contract for the manufacture and supply of machines which incorporate DDS' patented dry disaggregation system technology with Semi-Bulk Systems Inc. of Fenton, Missouri, a world-class provider of modular engineered process solutions, involving dry ingredient handling and dry/liquid mixing systems, to manufacturers of dairy, food, beverage, pharmaceutical and industrial products in North America and Europe.
DDS intends to market the machines into a broad range of agricultural, mining and industrial product applications.
