Creso Exploration mit Potential ?

13.07.10 22:01
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Jun 30, 2010 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Creso Exploration Inc. ("Creso" or the "Corporation") (CXT) is pleased to announce the award of a 5000 meter drilling program on the Shining Tree properties that will start this week including deepening by a further 300 m the Minto Hole #2 (18.2 g/t Au over 65.7 meters from 49.3 m to 115 m and 4.61 g/t Au over 79.6 meters from 132.4 m to 212 m - Press Release June 9, 2010) in order to do more down-hole geophysics and better delineate the gold bearing zone. Concurrently, Creso will initiate a detailed helicopter survey at 30m line spacing that will focus primarily on the Minto, Matona, Tyranite and Duggan Zones to outline known gold mineralization areas.

Creso has signed two airborne geophysical contracts with Terraquest Ltd both of which will start in July. The helicopter survey which will include Single Sensor High Resolution Aero-magnetics, Radiometrics and XDS/VLF-EM systems is based on 1779 line kilometers to be flown at low altitude with a 30m line spacing. The fix-wing aircraft will survey the entire eastern half of the Shining Tree properties covering large areas of the Tyrrell, Knight and Milner Townships survey and will include High Resolution Aero-magnetics, Horizontal Gradiometer, Radiometrics and XDS/VLF-EM systems over 5853 line kilometers at a 100m line spacing.

The combination of these two surveys is particularly well adapted to the Shining Tree Area where contrasts in hydrothermal alteration, mineralized volcanic and intrusive rocks, and complex structural features are common. Radiometric surveys will aid in delineating potassium enriched alteration zones commonly associated with gold mineralization in the area.

For additional information on the Minto, Tyranite and Duggan properties, please refer to the press release June 2, 2010 and to the 43-101 technical report available on www.sedar.com. For additional information on the Matona property, please refer to the press release June 22, 2010.

The Corporation's principal mining exploration holdings are located in the Shining Tree mining camp of Northern Ontario within 100 km of the Timmins and Kirkland mining camps and additional interests are held in base metal properties in Guatemala.

Creso Exploration Intersects 82.5 Meters of 13.3 g/t Au in Hole #1 at the Minto Project
8/9/2010 9:57:14 AM - Market Wire

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Aug 09, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Creso Exploration Inc. ("Creso" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: CXT) (FRANKFURT: C3X) is pleased to announce partial results from the deepened portion of drill hole, MC-09-01 (Hole #1), at the Minto Gold Project in northeast Ontario. These new results are from within an over-90 meter interval of breccia that was reported in the July 21, 2010 Press Release as containing a zone of visible gold over 40 meters. Highlights from the most recent Minto area drill results, as received to date, include:

NEW MINTO HIGH GRADE INTERCEPTS:

MC-09-01 (Hole #1):

- 82.5m of 13.3 g/t Au from 508.5m to 591.4m (uncut), including: 8.3m of 35.2 g/t Au from 544.3m to 552.6m (uncut)).

- 82.5m of 11.0 g/t Au (cut at 31.1 g/t Au) from 508.5m to 591.4m (0.4m lost recovery at 516m).

The new results are particularly encouraging in that they present a deeper confirmation of significant gold mineralization by approximately 500m vertical distance, than previously intersected in the nearby MC-09-2 (Hole #2): 65.7m of 18.2 g/t Au from 49.3m to 115m (7.9 g/t Au cut at 31.1 g/t Au); 79.6m of 4.61 g/t Au from 132.4m to 212.0m (3.35 g/t Au cut at 31.1 g/t Au; and 5.0m of 8.24 g/t Au from 423.0m to 429.0m (June 9 & July 21, 2010 Press Releases). Hole #1 (initial 172 degrees azimuth, -77 degrees dip) is collared about 45m west of the historic Minto gold occurrence, and Hole #2 (initial 155 degrees azimuth, -76 degrees dip) is collared about 35m SW of Hole #1. Hole #1 is now ended at 919m depth and Hole #2 is ended at 672m depth. The holes cross one another and are approximately 52m apart in plan view.

Creso geologists conclude that the gold mineralization encountered in holes #1 and #2 appears to have a general northerly trend and dips steeply to either the east or west. However, there continues to be an apparent irregularity in the shapes and dimensions of the areas of gold mineralization and true widths of these zones still cannot be determined. Analyses are pending from approximately 300m of core from Hole #2, and 150m of core from above, and some 300m below, the zone reported here from Hole #1.

Gold mineralization found in Hole #1 remains open to the south and at depth. At 588.36m Hole #1 appears to have crossed into what has been tentatively given a field designation as a syenodiorite intrusive body. The intrusive displays intermittent brecciation and pervasive potassic alteration. The high grade gold mineralization encountered within the 58m interval of visible gold in breccia noted above beginning at 530m depth in Hole #1, and present in five discernable zones, is associated with quartz veining, sulphides up to 4% by volume, and pervasive potash alteration, indicative of an alkalic gold system.

The Minto Gold Project is located approximately 87 km south of Timmins and 85 km southwest of Kirkland Lake.

Quality Control / Assurance and Qualified Person

Core processing included descriptive logging and systematic sampling for analysis. The drill core was completely split in half, with one half delivered to AGAT Laboratories in Sudbury, Ontario, and the other half retained for future reference. Sample preparation, utilizing metallic sieve techniques, were performed on all samples from which new results are reported above. Quick pulverizing (15-20 seconds) is meant to prevent coarse gold from smearing into the sample. Following this the sample is screened to 100 microns with the finer fraction having a duplicate fire assay performed and a single assay done on the coarse fraction. All processed samples were run using ICP-OES (axial view) instrumental techniques on a 250 gram sample. The total gold content is calculated and reported, along with the individual assays and weight fractions. AGAT Laboratories were advised beforehand that visible gold was observed in several core samples in this batch, for the purpose of minimizing possible contamination during sample preparation.

All core and split samples were held under control by Creso staff at all times until shipment to AGAT Laboratories by their personnel, who picked-up the samples from the Minto core storage site, where all stored core is kept in a secure facility.

This Press Release has been reviewed and approved by Mr. Michael White, M. Sc, P. Geo., the Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.

Creso is also pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr Jacques Bouchard as a new member of the Company's Board of directors, replacing Mr Mark Raguz.

Franco will purchase 1415094 shares Creso at 1,06$

21.09.10 23:36
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Sep 21, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Creso Exploration Inc. ("Creso" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: CXT) (FRANKFURT: C3X) is very pleased to announce the signing of an agreement to complete a private placement ("Private Placement") with Franco-Nevada Corporation ("Franco") (TSX: FNV). Franco will purchase 1,415,094 common shares of Creso at a price of $1.06 in a non-brokered private placement for an amount of $1,500,000. The purchase price was set at a 15% premium over the 20-day volume weighted-average market price prior to this announcement.

Pierre Gauthier, Creso Chairman, stated that "he and the entire Creso Board of Directors are particularly encouraged by Franco-Nevada's decision to invest at this stage in Creso's development, as it reflects a high level of confidence in the Corporation's Shining Tree Property ("Property") and in Creso management."

As part of the private placement, Franco is granted an option ("Option") to purchase a perpetual 2% Net Smelter Return ("NSR") royalty on gold and other minerals produced from the Property. The Option may be exercised within any or all of three North-South ("N-S") oriented sectors that have been determined to constitute the Property. All current Creso property holdings in the Shining Tree mining camp of Northern Ontario, or any future properties either contiguous with the current holdings or within a 20 km radius of the Minto mine pit, will be considered part of the Property, and will be considered to fall within one of the three Property sectors currently defined, or by extension of the N-S lines that define them.

The Option may be exercised within sixty days following the date on which (i) a decision is made to construct a mine by Creso and (ii) the planned mine is fully financed either with cash on hand or a firm commitment of bank financing.

The Option may be exercised at a purchase price equal to the after-tax net present value of the royalty revenue calculated using a 6.5% discount rate applied to the base case model assumptions in the feasibility study used to make the decision to construct and finance the mine. Franco has the right to exercise its Option for any mine developed within the Shining Tree area, and subsequently for any mine developed in a different sector.

Creso also wishes to announce that it has repurchased the right of first refusal ("Right of First Refusal") previously granted to Anglo Pacific Group plc ("APG") (LSE: APF.L and TSX: APY), in respect of the grant by the Corporation of any royalties on certain properties in consideration for the issuance to APG of 500,000 common shares of Creso. The Right of First Refusal had been granted to APG as part of a convertible debenture instrument issued in 2007. The repurchase was necessary to facilitate the above mentioned Private Placement and the grant of Option with Franco-Nevada. At present, the outstanding principal amount of $675,000 debenture held by APG is convertible at APG's option into 1,350,000 common shares of the Corporation, or a 2% NSR royalty on the Duggan property located in the Shining Tree area.

All securities to be issued to Franco and APG are subject to regulatory approval and to a four month hold period from the date of such approval.

Creso Exploration Updates Drilling Activity in the Shining Tree Area, NE Ontario
10/5/2010 1:21:27 PM - Market Wire

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Oct 5, 2010 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network) --

Creso Exploration Inc. ("Creso" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:CXT) (FRANKFURT:C3X) is pleased to announce the following exploration updates at its Shining Tree Project.

Minto Project:

Creso is pleased to announce that a third diamond drill hole, MC-10-03b (Hole #3) has been completed to date to a depth of 1020 meters on the Minto Project and that an intersection representing 280 meters (from 536.9m to 816.9m) has been sent to the lab as of today, with instructions to expedite analytical results. The rocks in this interval are similar to the gold-bearing altered breccias in Minto Holes #1 and #2 (see Creso Press Release of August 9, 2010). Alteration consists variably of pink to red secondary potash and locally gray to green chlorite-carbonate, with pyrite content variable from 0.5% to 10.0%, averaging approximately 1% to 2%. Hole #3 is collared 44m WSW from Hole #1 and 44m WNW from Hole #2. Hole #3 is drilled toward the SE (153 degrees azimuth) and is designed to cross and pass approximately 30m beneath Hole #1, which previously intersected 82.5m of 13.33 g/t Au ( see Creso Press Release as above). Wedging is being planned from Hole #3 to further test the extent of the mineralization encountered to date. The company is still waiting for further results from Holes #1 and #2.

Duggan Project:

A second drill has been commissioned on the Dugan property, 100% owned by Creso Exploration. The program is intended to drill some 500m in four holes to a maximum depth of 200m to test, and possibly extend, the known Duggan gold mineralization within a NNW structure cutting syenodiorite (please refer to the 43-101 technical report available on www.sedar.ca).

This Press Release has been reviewed and approved by Mr. Michael White, M. Sc, P. Geo., the Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Oct 29, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Creso Exploration Inc. ("Creso" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: CXT) (FRANKFURT: C3X) is pleased to announce recent preliminary diamond drill results from the Minto Project, as part of its expanded exploration program in the Shining Tree area of NE Ontario, where three diamond drill rigs are currently operating. In addition, a new 5,000 meter drill contract has been awarded to Major Drilling Group International Inc.

Highlights of Hole MC-10-03b (Hole #3):
280.00 meters averaging 1.15 g/t Au from 536.89 meters to 816.89 meters
depth.
   Including: 556.56 - 560.00m 5.2 g/t Au over 3.44m
              713.67 - 719.14m 3.2 g/t Au over 5.47m
              734.20 - 775.20m 3.4 g/t Au over 41.00m
              including:       754.38 - 763.23m      8.82 g/t Au over 8.85m

Hole #3 clearly demonstrates that the mineralization previously reported from Holes #1 and #2 (see Press Releases of August 9, 2010 and October 5, 2010) is representative of a very strong gold hydrothermal system with a fairly broad halo of mineralization and over 800 meters of vertical expression. High grade gold, with values above 10 g/t, was encountered in four zones within the 280 meters of nearly continuous mineralization and alteration, with visible gold present in three zones. The highest single gold value encountered in this hole is 38.8 g/t over 1.37 meters beginning at 756.36 meters depth. Hole #3 was drilled in a SSE direction with an average dip of -79 degrees and appears to have crossed approximately 25 meters beneath and at an angle of about 25 degrees to the axis of the high grade zone of Hole MC-10-1 (Hole #1) that ran 13.3 g/t Au over 82.5 meters. The intervals indicated above do not necessarily represent true widths, as the true dimensions and orientations of the mineralized zones containing the values reported are not known.

Whole rock geochemistry from Hole #3 indicates a clear depletion of Na and a re-mobilization of K in localized zones of secondary potassic alteration. Telurium values are elevated in zones of high gold values, all of which indicates that Hole #3 has passed near the border of a very large alkalic gold system, although the dimensions and geometry of that gold system are still not fully understood. All gold analyses were run at Agat Laboratories using both metallic sieve and fire assay with atomic absorption finish techniques. The reported values were the metallic sieve results only, although the overall averages of both techniques over the full 280 meters were nearly identical.

Drilling continues at the Minto zone, with Hole MC-10-04 (Hole #4) headed in a SSW direction now down to a depth of 875 meters, and targeted to pass underneath the mineralized zones reported in Holes MC-09-01, MC-09-02, and MC-10-03b. It is also drilling toward a coincident chargeability high and resistivity low determined from gradient array surface and borehole IP data that occurs at an intersection of N10W and EW linear features located approximately 160m SSW of the Minto Pit. Drilling at the Duggan property is ongoing, with Hole DUG-10-15 heading due west across a N-S structure at a depth of 160 meters.

Drilling at the new Gold Corona JV with Platinex in Churchill Township (see Joint Press Release of October 22, 2010) has completed the first hole, CP-10-01, to 398.3 meters as part of a first-phase program of 1000 meters.

This Press Release has been reviewed and approved by Mr. Michael White, M. Sc, P. Geo., the Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.
