Now this is very interesting. Carlyle Capital is in big trouble with the banks and may have to sell off it's assets - and one of it's assets is H.C. Stark (http://www.hcstarck.com/index.php?page_id=5),, a major player in the tantalum processing industry. See article here: http://www.altassets.com/news/arc/2006/nz9846.php - Stark was purchased in 2006 for $1.2 billion. Could be a fire sale coming up.
I'm sure CCE is aware of this development, now it's a matter of "what happens next?". As the world of tantalum continues its consolidation on the heels of SoG's mounting problems, and now this, CCE is in a fantastic position with a world class property and a very strong balance sheet.
