Inhalt in Kurzform:
CBAY meldet, dass es eine gefälschte Meldung in amerikanischen Internetforen aufgetaucht ist, die besagt, dass CABY Insolvenz angemeldet hat.
Hintergrund dieser Meldung ist, so wird angenommen, wie auch schon öfters gemeldet wurde und Inhalt von Reaktionen (Pressemeldungen) seitens CBAY war, dass es in letzter Zeit eine hohe Zahl von Leerverkäufen gegeben hat.
Diese müssen irgendwann gedeckt werden, wobei ein niedriger Kurs dieser Form von Manipulation SEHR entgegenkommt.

45 Mill. Aktien gehandelt. Also wenn das nichts ist. Das läßt auf den heutigen Tag weiter hoffen.

CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cal-Bay International, Inc. (OTCBB:CBAY - News) announces the company is in negotiations for the sale of its MB3 ARCA Race Team division, based in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Cal-Bay International's board of directors today commented that the race team was originally purchased as a major promotional tool for the development division of the company, but became an administrative challenge with the division being so geographically disconnected from the company's California headquarters.
President & CEO Roger Pawson commented, "The company owns a valuable portfolio of developable land and intends to stay focused on the completion of the developments in 2007 to create revenues and profits for the company, its investors and shareholders. The race team division was a time-consuming distraction away from the focus of the company's business plan."
Cal-Bay's management expects to conclude the sale before the end of March 2007.

Zumindest sind sie in Verahndlungen.
Als Argument wird angegebn, dass die in North-Carolina und die Firma in Kalifornien ist, weshalb man eh nichts davon hat. Zudem bleibt offen, warum sich eine Immobilienfirma eine Rennmannschaft gehalten hat (Hobby des Sohns vom Vorstand?).
Für Masochisten ist bei dem Unternehmen jeder Tag ein guter Tag zum einsteigen. Alle anderen sollten die Finger davon lassen. In Anbetrach der Markttkapitalisierung von nicht mal mehr 330 TEU dürfte der Antrag auf Chapter Eleven zumindes vorbereitet aber wahrscheinlich schon abgegeben sein.
