MOSCOW, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- Russia is exchanging information with the members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) but there is no question of coordinating actions yet, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
Interfax News quoted Peskov as saying "There is an exchange of information but so far we are not talking about any coordination of our actions." Meanwhile, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that Russia will not cut back its oil production, pointing out that Russia's oil production does not "substantially" affect demands in global oil markets.
Novak also stressed that OPEC countries should stick to their current quotas. (end) as.nfm
