NEW YORK, Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ --

What is the Investigation About?
On August 5, 2026, before the market opened, Taboola.com Ltd. ("Taboola" or the "Company") reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $476.8 million, below its previously issued guidance range of $492 million to $505 million. The Company also lowered its full-year revenue guidance by $91 million at the midpoint and its full-year-gross-profit guidance by $10 million at the midpoint.
During the earnings call that same day, management attributed part of the revenue shortfall to its decision to end relationships with publishers that failed to meet its advertiser-performance standards. Management also explained that removing publishers that provided insufficient value to advertisers had created headwinds during that quarter.
Following this news, the price of Taboola stock fell $1.45 per share, or 27.41%, to close at $3.84 per share on August 5, 2026.
