Eurofins CDMO Alphora has expanded its kilolab and high-potency active pharmaceutical ingredient (HPAPI) development and manufacturing capabilities in Mississauga.
The expanded laboratories are designed to support the growing demand for enhanced flexibility as part of process development, scale-up, and manufacturing activities for non-high potent and high potent programs. Together, the suites cover 627 square feet. They are equipped with walk-in fume hoods capable of supporting up to 100L glass reactors and utilise a flexible design so that specialised equipment such as isolators, glove boxes, and lyophilizers can fulfill project requirements as needed, enabling efficient execution of a wide range of non-high potent and high potent programs.
The laboratories are further supported by an additional dedicated analytical laboratory and an adjacent GMP warehouse, creating an integrated environment that streamlines development workflows, analytical support, material management, and manufacturing readiness.
This expansion strengthens Eurofins CDMO Alphora’s established expertise in small molecule development and manufacturing, complementing its comprehensive service offerings in process research and development, analytical development, GMP manufacturing, and commercialization support. This expansion allows Eurofins CDMO Alphora to better support increasingly complex and highly potent molecules across various stages of development while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence. The expanded capability also further supports the site’s fully integrated ADC offering, producing linkers and payloads for conjugation with mAbs manufactured on site, significantly reducing timelines and supply chain complexities.
