- ein niedriger Aktienfloat,
- keine Schulden,
- Minen in Ghana und
- jederzeit bereit neue Goldreserven zu akquirieren.  

Ist doch nicht seriös - zumal im Oktober noch eine Empfehlung vom Aktionär kam!
Nichts wie raus - hätte es da heissen sollen.

so dürfte es mal ein paar Tage gehen...

...habe mir mal 1000 stueck gekauft.
scheint ja  eine sichere sache zu sein.
und die abgeltungssteuer wollte ich unbedingt noch umschiffen.

Golden Star Resources Ltd. Golden Star Resources Ltd. (NA, Kurs 1,07 C$, MKP 372 Mio. A$) meldet für das Septemberquartal (Septemberquartal 2007) eine Goldproduktion von 74.042 oz, was einer Jahresrate von etwa 300.000 oz entspricht und das Produktionsziel von jährlich 500.000 oz weit verfehlt.

In der Bogoso/Prestea Mine erreichte die Produktion 51.959 oz (40.518 oz). Eigentlich sollte die Produktion in der Mine auf eine Jahresrate von 370.000 oz bei Nettoproduktionskosten von 330 $/oz ausgeweitet werden.

In der Wassa Mine wurden 22.083 oz (29.625 oz) gewonnen. Beide Minen befinden sich in Ghana. Bei Nettoproduktionskosten von 897 $/oz (707 $/oz) und einem Verkaufspreis von 866 $/oz (681 $/oz) mußte bereits auf der Produktionsebene ein Verlust von 31 $/oz (Bruttogewinnspanne 26 $/oz) hingenommen werden.

Nach hohen Abschreibungen, Verwaltungs- und Finanzierungskosten verzeichnete Golden Star einen operativen Verlust in Höhe von 33,2 Mio. A$ (23,6 Mio. A$) oder 303 $/oz (280 $/oz). Auf der Basis einer jährlichen Produktion von 500.000 oz haben die Reserven eine Lebensdauer von 8,1 Jahren und die Ressourcen eine Lebensdauer von 13,6 Jahren.

Golden Star hat 46.700 oz Gold kurzfristig vorwärtsverkauft. Am 31.03.08 (30.09.07) stand einem Cashbestand von 81,0 Mio. A$ (25,0 Mio. A$) eine gesamte Kreditbelastung von 348,8 Mio. A$ (248,4 Mio. A$) gegenüber. Zum 30.09.08 fiel der Cashbestand auf 37,4 Mio. A$ zurück.

Du solltest deinen ganzen schrott verkaufen und hier oder bei nova aufstocken!

Golden Star Resources Ltd. (NYSE Amex: GSS)(TSX: GSC)(GSE: GSR) today announced it has signed an agreement for a revolving credit facility (the Facility) with Standard Chartered Bank. All currency in this news release is expressed in U.S. dollars, unless otherwise noted.

The Facility calls for a fully committed revolving credit line of $30 million, consisting of $15 million of available credit immediately upon signing, and an additional $15 million at the earlier of completion of syndication or 90 days.

The Facility carries a term of three years from signing and bears interest at the higher of LIBOR or the applicable Cost of Funds rate (capped at 1.25 % per annum above LIBOR), plus a Margin of 5% per annum. The Facility is secured by a pledge of shares in Golden Stars significant...

Tom Mair, President and CEO, said, “Wassa turned in an excellent quarter producing over 56,000 ounces at a cash cost of less than $400 per ounce. This demonstrates the results of a full quarter of HBB high grade ore deliveries to the Wassa plant. At Bogoso we continue to see progress but power quality issues remain. We are on track to meet our 2009 guidance of 400,000 ounces at an average cash cost of $550 per ounce.”

FIRST QUARTER 2009 RESULTS AND HIGHLIGHTS

   * Record quarterly gold sales of 96,971 ounces for the first quarter of 2009, a 13% increase over fourth quarter 2008 and a 69% increase over the first quarter of 2008;
   * Gold revenues for the quarter of $87.6 million representing an increase of 26% over fourth quarter 2008 revenues of $69.6 million and an increase of 65% over first quarter of 2008;
   * Net loss of $1.1 million or $0.005 per share compared to a loss of $86.8 million for the fourth quarter of 2008;
   * Operating cash flow of $11.1 million for the first quarter of 2009, or $0.047 per share;
   * Operating cash flow before working capital charges of $19.8 million for the first quarter of 2009, or $0.847 per share;
   * Quarter-end cash balance of $28.1 million; and
   * Realized gold price for the first quarter averaged $904 per ounce compared to $808 in the fourth quarter of 2008, an increase of 12%;

Golden Star Reports Significantly Lower Power Costs in Ghana
DENVER, COLORADO, Jun 26, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Golden Star Resources Ltd. (TSX: GSC)(NYSE Amex: GSS)(GSE: GSR) is pleased to announce that the long awaited Ghana grid power cost reduction is being implemented.
Golden Star has been informed by the Volta River Authority (VRA) that all inclusive electricity rates will be lowered to approximately US$0.08 per kWh and this rate will be retroactive to January 1, 2009. This is an interim rate which will be in effect until a final power rate formula is implemented.

In June 2008, the Public Utilities Regulatory Committee (PURC) increased power utility rates from approximately $0.10 per kWh to $0.18 per kWh. The rate subsequently dropped with the devaluation of the Cedi to approximately $0.145 per kWh. Since that time, Golden Star, other operating mining companies, the Ghana Chamber of Mines and the mining unions in Ghana have been in continuous negotiations with the VRA to enact a more reasonable power rate structure and as a result of these intense negotiations, written confirmation of a lower power rate has been received by the Company.

Based on the new power rate, Golden Star's reported overall cash cost of production for the first quarter of 2009 would have been reduced approximately $56 per ounce to $515 per ounce. Assuming this rate will not change during the year, we expect an overall reduction in cash operating costs of $60 per ounce and $20 per ounce for Bogoso and Wassa, respectively, resulting in an expected $40 per ounce company-wide reduction in 2009 cash operating costs....

Das Unternehmen gab gestern die Ergebnisse für das vierte Quartal und das Gesamtjahr 2009 bekannt. Es wurden im ganzen Jahr knapp 410.000 oz Gold zu Cashkosten von 564 USD/oz produziert. Die Verkäufe beliefen sich auf 409.902 oz, dies bedeutet verglichen mit dem Jahr 2008 einen Anstieg um 39%. Der Gold-Umsatz steig um 56% und erreichte 400,7 Mio. USD. Der Reingewinn für das Gesamtjahr betrug 16,5 Mio. USD oder 0,07 USD je Aktie.

Im vierten Quartal wurden 106.486 oz verkauft, der durchschnittlich erzielte Goldpreis lag bei 1.103 USD/oz. Die Cashkosten lagen insgesamt bei 542 USD/oz.

Für 2010 erwartet das Unternehmen eine Goldproduktion von insgesamt 400.000 oz zu Cashkosten von 585 USD/oz.

Denver, CO—December 21, 2010—Golden Star Resources Ltd. (NYSE Amex: GSS; TSX: GSC; GSE: GSR)
(“Golden Star” or the “Company”) announced today that 2010 production guidance for
Bogoso/Prestea has been revised from 185,000 ounces to 170,000 - 172,000 ounces of gold. At
Wassa/HBB guidance remains essentially unchanged at 182,000 (previously 185,000) ounces of gold.
Ore deliveries to the Bogoso sulfide processing mill have been impacted by pit dewatering and access
issues exacerbated by higher than normal rainfall. This meant that a larger than forecast proportion
of mill feed consisted of partially-oxidized transitional stockpile material which resulted in lower
flotation recovery. In addition, ore deliveries to the Bogoso oxide mill and metallurgical recoveries
from stockpiled non-refractory ores were below forecast.
Ore delivery issues have been resolved and we expect that metallurgical recovery will improve during
2011 as we access deeper, more sulfidic ores at Chujah and Bogoso North pits.
We were recently notified that our power rates were being increased to approximately $0.15 per
kilowatt-hour (kWh). We have been accruing power at $0.12 per kWh. We will be adjusting our
power rate accruals retroactive to June 1, 2010. This will result in a fourth quarter charge of
approximately $3.2 million at Bogoso/Prestea and $1.3 million at Wassa/HBB.
