Seit der Veröffentlichung des GB am 6 März hat sich die Anzahl der Vorort Shareholder mit +5K  in knapp 6 Monaten von 741 um 212 PNG u. Bouggys erhöht.Ein schöner Beweis für die Stimmung vor Ort u. den Glauben der dortigen "Reichen" in die Wiedereröffnng.Immerhin jeweils ein Invest von +2000 AUD.


Wurden hier Friends & Family vor Ort (durch BOC/RT?) über G&S mit bei der Citi gehaltenen Shares a 40 ct "beschenkt" wobei auch (unerwünschte) Trittbrettfahrer einige Millionen in ihre Depots gepackt haben?

Die Bougainville Regierung begründet zusätzliche Neu Seeland Polizisten mit dem kulturellen Unterschied zu PNG. Dieser Unterschied existiert auch - wie jeder in Bougainville weiß und ist eine notwendige Bedingung für die Unabhängigkeit.
Gleichzeitig stärkt es - wegen der Nähe von RT zu Neu Seeland - die Position von RT.

Aber: noch besteht die - eher geringe - Möglichkeit, dass sich Teile der Bevölkerung - z.B. in Panguna - nicht für Bougainville Copper Ltd. entscheiden. In dem Fall kommt wohl Plan B - also der Verkauf von Panguna an die Chinesen.
Das "Säubern der Panguna Umwelt" durch die Chinesen ist in diesem Sinne zu verstehen, da es den Chinesen ermöglicht, genügend Bodenproben zu nehmen, um die Werthaltigkeit der neuesten RT/ BCL Studie zu überprüfen http://bcl.com.pg/latest-news/jorc-press-release/ und damit den Kaufpreis für Panguna genau zu bestimmen.

Despite the peace agreement, tension between Papua New Guinea and Bougainville has always simmered away in the background.

In recent times though, it’s moved up a significant notch.

Geographically and culturally Bougainville shares closer ties with the Solomon Islands but, like other examples in the Pacific, colonial powers lumped it in with Papua New Guinea.

Anger at how their Panguna mine was being managed, sparked a decade of bitter violent warfare as the people of Bougainville fought for independence.

New Zealand played a significant role in the Bougainville Peace Agreement - which was signed in August 2001 and gave Bougainville greater autonomy.

Now fourteen years later things are not so good.

It’s over money - at least on the surface. PNG gives Bougainville $100 million kina a year and are unhappy it’s not being spent on infrastructure which it’s intended for but rather on wages and claims.

The Bougainville administration deny this, and say they should be allowed to spend it on what they like.

The friction between the two should not be underplayed as it shows a great level of distrust.

Bougainville’s President John Momis has come out firing.

“They (PNG) are deliberately trying to fragment Bougainville which will not happen, they are deliberately trying to undermine the leadership and the people of Bougainville,” he told us.

He has also accused PNG of breaching the Bougainville Agreement and their own constitution.

PNG’s Prime Minister Peter O’Neill is more cautious in its language saying he’s “not pleased” with Bougainville’s administration. However the delivery of his comments spoke of a clearly deteriorating relationship between the two.

Given New Zealand’s relationship with PNG and Bougainville in the past, it’s not surprising it’s been asked to step in.

It’s fair to say it’s cautious about doing so.

Foreign Minister Murray McCully says he hasn’t ruled it out…but the two countries need to have more dialogue. He says “they are closer together on some issues than they realise”.

One thing is clear. The current tension is a grim sign in the leadup to Bougainville’s independence referendum which will be held between 2015-2020.

Die Frage sollte eher lauten: "Was war der Grund für den dramatischen Kursverfall von 2.20 AUD auf 37 ct, während sich die Nachrichtenlage in Richtung Wiedereröffnung der Pangunamine und der Exploration der 7 weiteren Lizenzgebiete immer weiter verbessert hat?

Durch das Heruntermanipulieren des Sharepreises durch die Trickys (aus welchem Grunde u. in wessen Auftrag auch immer???) entstand eine derart krasse Unterbewertung so dass diese auf Dauer unhaltbar wurde.

Wie aus dem KOMPLETTEN Aktionärsregister (Link im 707) hervorgeht steigt die Anzahl der PNG u. Bougainville Shareholder kontinuierlich an.(Der beste Beweis dafür dass es sich um einen nachhaltigen Anstieg handeln dürfte und nicht etwa um "Heisse Luft" bzw. einen (Dumm)Push.

Bei allen an einer Börse gelisteten Explorerklitschen sitzt das Management auf Bergen von Shares und Aktienoptionen. Kommt es durch gute Explorationsergebnisse oder durch von gekauften Promotions diverser Dummpush-Börsenbriefen zu einem Hype, so verdient das Management sich durch das Abladen ihrer (fast) Gratis-Shares eine goldene Nase.

Bei BOC gibt es keine Grossaktionäre welche ein Interesse am Abladen haben könnten, vom Management hält nur Rabbie Langanai Namilu ganze 1000 Böcke. (Welche er übrigens schon vor seiner Einberufung in den Vorstand besass )

Trifft also hier eine auch vergleichbar niedrige Nachfrage auf ein kaum existentes Angebot, so ist eine Kursexplosion quasi vorprogrammiert.

PS:Die "Grossen Ohren" signalisieren zudem ein gesteigertes Antichambrieren in der "Tax-case" Kommt es hier zu einem Urteil bzw. einer Einigung so MUSS BCL dazu eine AdHoc Meldung veröffentlichen, was weitere Aufmerksamkeit auf die Böcke lenken dürfte. ;-))))

Taxation Dispute
The ongoing tax dispute with the Internal Revenue Commission of PNG has progressed a little, with the company lodging additional information. As I previously reported, an earlier court‐initiated mediation did not come to a final agreement, but has taken us closer, I believe, to a negotiated outcome.
As has been reported in previous years, the company lodged formal objections to a reassessment by the Internal Revenue Commission of BCL’s claims for losses due to the suspension of mining operations in 1989, and for depreciation of its remaining mine assets.
The company paid approximately K13 million to the IRC during the 2007 year (which is close to the claimed unpaid primary tax). A further K48.8 million was paid into court during the 2010 year under the terms of a court‐sanctioned arrangement to place the IRC in possession of funds sufficient to pay all outstanding assessments, penalties and interest claimed by the IRC. This arrangement also ensures that those funds are available for return to BCL in the event that the company’s challenges to the assessments are ultimately upheld by the courts. This money is invested and is bearing interest.
The principal and interest will be returned to the company should it prevail in the substantive tax appeal.
It is possible that further mediation will produce a settlement. If not, the company will rely upon the accounting and legal advice it has received and test the issues in court.
