STEINHOFF INVESTMENTS - FURTHER UPDATE ON FINANCIAL REPORTING TIMELINE
Steinhoff Investment Holdings Limited (“Steinhoff Investments” or the “Company”) (together
with its subsidiaries, the “Group”)
Introduction and background
Steinhoff Investments, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Steinhoff International Holdings N.V., is
the issuer of Preference Shares that are listed (but currently suspended) on the JSE.
On 19 June 2019 the Company gave the market an indication regarding the timing of the
release of its annual financial statements ("the June Announcement").
Update
Despite the Company’s best efforts, there remains a substantial amount of work in order to
prepare, and then to audit, the Company’s annual financial statements. These tasks remain
complex and uncertain.
Unfortunately, it is clear that the timeline for publication of the annual financial statements
for Steinhoff Investments disclosed in the June Announcement cannot be met.
For avoidance of doubt, Steinhoff International Holdings N.V.’s audited annual financial
statements for the 2017 and 2018 financial years already published earlier this year are
unaffected by these delays.
Revised plan and timetable
Steinhoff Investments will update the market in due course regarding revised completion
and publication dates.
