Spansion has claimed its foundry agreement with Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) is still valid, though the schedule to ramp 65nm production at SMIC's 300mm (12-inch) facility in Wuhan has been postponed due to its insolvency proceedings.

John Nation, director of corporate marketing for Spansion, said that the company is jointly developing MirrorBit technology with SMIC and Wuhan Xinxin Semiconductor Manufacturing. The chipmaker expects to ramp production of 65nm MirrorBit NOR at Wuhan Xinxin in the second quarter of 2010, and is speeding up efforts to transfer 43nm MirrorBit ORNAND2 flash memory technology to the 12-inch fab operated by SMIC.

Spansion is currently producing 65nm MirrorBit NOR at its own 12-inch facility as it works though its insolvency issues, according to Nation. Wuhan Xinxin will play as Spansion's sole foundry supplier for 2010, when the memory market is expected to see a solid recovery.

Spansion is scheduled to successfully emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the fourth quarter of 2009, according to previous announcements.

Spansion extended its foundry agreement with SMIC from 65nm to 43nm in August 2008, with manufacturing to take place at SMIC's Wuhan fab.

Wuhan Xinxin spielt als Spansion' s-alleiniger Gießereilieferant für 2010, wenn der Gedächtnismarkt erwartet wird, um eine feste Wiederaufnahme zu sehen. Spansion wird festgelegt, um vom Bankrott des Kapitels 11 im vierten Quartal von 2009, entsprechend vorhergehenden Ansagen erfolgreich aufzutauchen.

Ich glaube auch, dass wir sehr positiv aus Chapter 11 kommen. Mal schauen ob wir daraus Kapital schlagen können....

bei 0,14 muß es drehen dann ist alles gut.siehe chart

an der 0,14 gedreht und dann mit volumen hoch auf 0,165. mal sehn ob es morgen weiter hoch läuft.

immer wieder fette umsätze auf der 0,15.es heißt weiter warten.sieht nach einsammeln aus.

(Nasdaq: TSRA) today announced that the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has denied the respondents' motion to stay the U.S. International Trade Commission's (ITC) Limited Exclusion Order (LEO) and Cease and Desist Orders (CDOs) in Investigation No. 337-TA-605 (Wireless ITC Action). Under the Federal Circuit's order denying a stay, the ITC's LEO and CDOs will remain in full effect while the Federal Circuit considers the respondents' appeal.

"The respondents in the case, including Qualcomm, Freescale and Spansion, continue to be prohibited from importing or selling infringing products in the U.S. for the duration of the appeal," stated Henry R. Nothhaft, president and CEO of Tessera. "We remain confident that the appeal process will confirm the strength of Tessera's patents."

The respondents in the Wireless ITC action are ATI Technologies, Freescale Semiconductor, Inc., Qualcomm, Inc., Spansion, Inc., Spansion, LLC and ST Microelectronics N.V. Tessera asserted infringement of two Tessera patents, U.S. Patent No. 6,433,419 (‘419) and U.S. Patent No. 5,852,326 (‘326). Motorola, Inc., which had been a party to the action, has signed a license agreement with Tessera, and is permitted to import and sell otherwise unlicensed infringing products.
