In the advanced setting, a new study will be conducted in
the framework of a collaboration between the industry and
EORTC. The study will evaluate the survival impact of
adding EndoTag® to gemcitabine vs gemcitabine alone in
locally advanced and metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
EndoTag is a new compound combining paclitaxel
to liposomes targeting endothelial cells. Phase II data
are promising ; the design of the phase III is classical
(endpoint: survival; HR: 0.75, n = 690 patients) but
translational research focusing on this new compound
activity is planned.
das gute ist nur - BSDK hat ja Orphan Drug Status und könnte daher "beschleunigt" vorangehen, aber wie gesagt, die Kosten dürften doppelt so hoch sein, als wie bei TNBC P3..
