Annual molybdenum production as a result of the expansion at the Endako mine (of which Thompson Creek will receive 75%) is expected initially to be about 17 million lb and will decline within two years of the start up to approximately 16 million lb. In the absence of an expansion, annual molybendum production would have been expected to fall to about 8 million lb by 2012 and remain at approximately that level.

In estimating the return on investment from the expansion, the company has assumed future molybdenum prices of US$27/lb in 2009, US$23/lbin 2010, US$17.50/lb in 2011, and US$14/lb thereafter. Based on these prices, the expected internal rate of return will be more than 20% over a 16-year mine life.

Average production costs as a result of the expansion are projected to be Cdn$7.93/lb of molybdenum, down from C$10.39 in the absence of an expansion. All calculations assume an average exchange value of the Canadian dollar of US$0.94 throughout the production period.

The mill expansion includes the installation of a new grinding circuit consisting of SAG and ball mills, a modern flotation circuit and the upgrading of the roaster circuit. The result will be a more cost-efficient mill with fewer mechanical items and with the ability to handle a variety of ore more easily, and will achieve greater recoveries than the existing mill. The capital expenditures will include the acquisition of new trucks and other equipment to supply the mill with a higher volume of ore.

Tja, da bin ich ja mal gespannt, wie heut so das Börsenwetter sein wird. Der Late Dax wird hier bei Ariva mit 6545 (+3,02%) Punkten angezeigt, das ist mehr, als der Future auf dem N-TV Teletext anzeigt. Dieser ist noch auf dem Stand von gestern abend 10 Uhr.
Der Nikkei ist leicht im Minus mit 0,3 Prozent, der Hang Seng mit 1,3 % im Plus. Tja, schaun wa mal.
Egal wie der Gesamtmarkt tendiert, Hauptsache unsere Perle, und auch die anderen Rohstoffaktien steigen mal so langsam..... ;-)

Ich wünsch uns allen einen schönen grünen Börsentag!

Rudern mal wer mit? Die anderen "Schiffe" wie Commerce und Freegold sind wieder ein wenig auf Nordkurs. Da könnten wir das Kaffekränzchen bei 11,41 jetzt auch mal beenden und auch den Nordkurs einschlagen. *fg*

Der Ifo Geschäftsklimaindex Deutschland und die Auftragseingänge der europäischen Industrie sind schon mal besser als erwartet ausgefallen (siehe www.teleboerse.de).
Wir warten zwar noch auf diverse US Indikatoren, aber das können wir doch auch ein wenig nördlicher tun. *fg*

Das Volumen ist heute aber ganz schön bescheiden. Gerade mal 3460 Stück sind über den tresen gegangen, und das in einer Handelszeit von immerhin 3 Stunden. Muß man das verstehen?

Wenn das kein Grund zum Feiern ist! Zumindest ist es schon mal nicht schlechter geworden!

BRD: GfK Konsumklima auch 0,1 besser als erwartet.

Nicht viel, aber immerhin besser! Im ach so rauhen Klima momentan ist das schon mal nicht schlecht.

¿Porque no? Fiesta hier an Bord wäre doch auch mal wieder schön, oda? Leider gab der Kurs dafür in letzter Zeit nicht nicht allzu viel Anlass. So muß ich eben anderswo feten ;-)

Tja, das kann man wohl sagen für heute. Da bin ich mal kurze Zeit nicht da, komm wieder und muß feststellen: Wie gewonnen, so zerronnen heute, jedenfalls in Canada. Schade, und wieder mal nur wegen dem dummen DOW. Klar, daß das mal wieder den Bademeister auf den Plan ruft, der scheinbar das "Badezimmer" schon wieder zumüllt . Aber Montag fängt ja die neue Woche an.

Da gibt es neue Chancen wieder zuzulegen im Kurs, oder ggf. nachzulegen bei billigeren Kursen.. ;-)

ich habe mich heute um den Kaffee gekümmert. Er steht am üblichen Platz. Ich habe aber nur eine kleine Kanne gemacht, weil ja offenbar viele an Land gegangen sind. Wir paar an Bord Verbliebenen, werden wohl kräftig rudern müssen, wenn wir die Landgänger am nächsten oder übernächsten Hafen in Richtung Norden wieder an Bord nehmen wollen. Ich fürchte aber, dass wir in einer Woche noch immer gleichen Wasser tümpeln und alle im jetzigen Hafen wieder an Bord kommen werden.

Es fällt mir momentan nicht leicht,den Kurs zu sehen. Aber, Warren Buffett hat des Öfteren darauf hingewiesen, man solle keine Aktien kaufen, wenn man nicht bereit sei, diese dann auch 10 Jahre oder länger zu behalten.Wer in Panik raus, nichts wie raus will, sollte sich also ernsthaft fragen, warum er seine Aktien überhaupt gekauft hat.Wer richtig handelt, kann mit der TCM-Aktie viel Geld verdienen.
