London--Nov. 27--COMEX Dec gold futures were up $3 at $269.70 per
ounce at 1047 ET after jumping to a one-month high of $270.30. After
languishing for weeks in a tight range, gold was given the momentum to
jump higher as the dollar tumbled against other key currencies, such as
the euro, yen and British pound.
