Has uranium found a bottom? Volumes suggest market strength
Both Ux Consulting and TradeTech boosted their spot price indicators for uranium this week by US$3 to US$78 per pound, while maintaining a long-term target of US$95.

UxC summed up the state of the market by noting that as prices for the nuclear fuel fell off 38% from their peak, there were only 12 deals for a total of 1.8 million pounds in the third quarter.

This represented the lowest volume since the beginning of 1998, RBC Capital Markets analyst Adam Schatzker said in a note to clients. Spot volumes in the first two quarters of 2007 were 7.8 million and 3.7 million pounds respectively.

But fear not, volume is above 2 million pounds for the last three weeks and uranium prices have found support at US$75, Mr. Schatzker said.

“Speculative buying seems to have resurfaced as the prospects for a price increase have materialized,” he added.

So while uranium may have found a bottom, the question remains whether motivated sellers will put a cap on prices.

Mr. Schatzker believes we are seeing “real renewed interest in the market” as recent buyers include utilities, speculators and traders. Increased demand should mean higher prices if RBC’s forecast for a balanced market proves correct.

wenn du dich über sooo kleine Kursverluste schon aufregst, solltest du keine Explorer kaufen.

TIP gegen Nervenflattern: Nicht mehr nach den Kursen schauen, Forsys einfach bis zum Frühjahr halten und dann die Gewinne mitnehmen  ;-)

2 tage von 2.55 runter auf 2.30 . natürlich freut mich das nicht. im gegenteil ärgert mich die ganze geschichte.

Hast schon recht, Forsys ist im Moment nichts für schwache Nerven.
Aber was soll´s, wenn es wieder auf unter 2.10 runtergehen sollte (ohne daß sich fundamental bei Forsys etwas verschlechtert hat) kauf ich wieder mal eine Tradingsposition nach, die dann bei ca. 2,50 wieder verkauft wird.
Hab ich jetzt schon etliche mal gemacht.

Ich hab damit die (theoretischen) Verluste meiner Forsys-Long-Position schon längst wieder reingeholt.....

was meint ihr? sehen wir heute noch 2,25 euronen?

wir sehen heute sogar 2,20 euronen

hoffentlich, dann leg ich mir nochmals einige stücke ins depot um meinen kurs zu verbilligen. bin bei 3 euro eingestiegen.
bei der sabina silver hat das super funktionert. dort war ich schon mit 2000 in der kreide, hab nachgekauft und jetzt bin ich mit 3000 im plus.
aber alle tage ist nicht sonntag.

hoffentlich kommen gute neue news!
