LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 2000--Dicom Imaging Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:DCIM - news) announced today that it plans to release its LabRX Module software at the Chicago Mid-Winter Meeting in Chicago, Illinois on February 24, 2000.
The Chicago Mid-Winter Meeting is one of the largest annual conventions for dental professionals in North America.
LabRX , when used in conjunction with the complimentary imagEXPLORER module, facilitates communication between the dentist and the laboratory technician in the fabrication of all types of dental restorations. LabRX provides a comprehensive prescription, which includes images of the patient to assist the dentist in obtaining a predictable result from the lab while assisting the technician in avoiding costly remakes due to miscommunication. LabRX is especially powerful in communicating information specific to esthetic restorations. LabRX provides its enhanced electronic prescription either as a print report or an electronic file.
