Deep Yellow will raise the equity through a one for two non-renounceable entitlement issue priced at A7.5c, with the company signalling its intention to investigate offshore opportunities by indicating it would no longer restrict its activities to Australia.The company also revealed that it has the right to earn a 51% stake in Matrix Metals' 5000 square kilometre tenement holding in Queensland by spending $A3 million over a three-year period.The uranium explorer said it plans to get on the ground conducting mapping, geochemical sampling and drilling on a number of targets by the next quarter. An evaluation by Matrix of past uranium exploration work and mining carried out in the region has reportedly identified 15 occurrences of uranium mineralisation or anomalism within close proximity to the Mary Kathleen mine and Valhalla and Skal. Deep Yellow has projects in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.Shares in Deep Yellow hit a 52-week low of 4.3c in March before gaining ground and hitting a 52-week high of 20c in September. The stock gained 0.9c (10.7%) to close at 9.3c Monday

Each trench will be sampled on both walls on a metre block basis, with mineralisation being photographed and radiometrically surveyed using a spectrometer ahead of sampling for chemical assay. The trenches will be backfilled and the sites rehabilitated within 2-3 days of completion of sampling

The trenching commenced on March 23 and has exposed visible uranium mineralisation in the form of carnotite in each of the two starter trenches completed. Trenching to 6m and 8m depths in each case has been achieved with excellent wall stability and no problems are foreseen in completing the three trenches to achieve their planned depths and lengths.

The Napperby Project is located 150km northwest of Alice Springs and consists of one exploration licence covering 809sqkm. The Project hosts a large area of previously defined uranium mineralisation.

Die Bohrungen im Napperby-Projekt sind abgeschlossen. 369 Proben wurden zur Uraniumanalyse eingereicht. Ergebnisse werden Ende APRIL 2006 erwartet.

Sollte sich das Ergebnis als positiv erweisen, was höchstwahrscheinlich ist
(siehe Report v. 03.April.06 = Photos der Mineralisierungen in denen sichtbare Konzentrationen v. Uran in den Proben festgestellt wurden, sollte sich der Kurs von

Das Napperby Projekt ist nicht das einzigste aussichtsreiche Vorhaben v. DEEP YELLOW Ltd. (DYL). DYL hat 4 weitere sehr interessante Projekte in seinem Portefolio:

NORTHERN TERRITORY Napperby Project (DYL: 100%):
Location The Napperby Project is located 150 km northwest of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory of Australia and consists of one exploration licence covering 809 km2. The Napperby Project hosts a large area of previously defined uranium mineralisation. Napperby Prospect In the late 1970’s Uranerz Australia Pty Ltd (Uranerz) drilled 820 shallow air core and auger holes at Napperby, culminating in resource definition work and a pre-feasibility study. The drilling conducted by Uranerz delineated a 20 km x 4 km mineralised palaeodrainage known as the New Well Prospect. On the back of that drilling Uranerz carried out an economic orientation study on the project based on a grade range of 0.036-0.038%. The mineralised zone is 0.5 to 5 metres (m) thick and occurs between 3m and 10m from surface. The New Well Prospect mineralisation is reported by Uranerz to occur predominantly in the reduced carbonate sand and sandy clay of channel sediments. This mineralisation is similar to other prominent Uranium deposits, such as Langer-Heinrich in Namibia (Paladin Resources) where alkaline leaching will be used in the extraction process. During 2005 DYL undertook an extensive drilling programme on Napperby based on a 100m by 100m grid system aimed at defining a JORC resource. Uranerz's work had predominantly been done on a 300m by 400m grid, which did not qualify the data to be used under JORC. Unfortunately DYL's drilling was inconclusive due either to using an incorrect drilling method (high pressure aircore) that resulted in core recoveries of less than 50%, or due to an incorrect interpretation of the style of mineralisation. It is planned to ascertain where the problem lies in early 2006 when the weather permits.
 
NORTHERN TERRITORY North East Arunta Project (DYL 100%):
The NE Arunta Project (EL9890) is located in the Proterozoic Arunta block, approximately 270 km NNE of Alice Springs. Exploration by previous workers defined a 1,400 m long radiometric anomaly (Yambla Prospect) within the Yambla Amphibolite. Drilling and trenching of the Yambla Amphibolite by PNC, a major Japanese explorer in the 1980’s, defined a 1 to 10m thick alteration zone within which sporadic occasionally very high grade uranium mineralisation occurs in the form of egg-shaped nodules of uraninite grading 1-10% U3O8. Fifteen  trenches dug by PNC showed mineralisation of which two had reasonable zones of high grade material. Better trench assays of channel samples (0.5 to 1.0 m) ranged between 0.1 to 10% U3O8. Elsewhere, assays adjacent to mineralisation ranged between 10 and 200 ppm U3O8. One campaign of diamond drilling (13 holes) was completed, with two holes showing moderate downhole anomalies. All holes intersected at least some alteration proving the wide extent of the mineralising system. Drillhole assays ranged between 5 and 50 ppm U3O8 in altered rock while unaltered amphibolite was all <5 ppm U3O8. Previous explorers have found it difficult to determine the extent and distribution of the uranium rich nodules. After reviewing existing data Deep Yellow plans to carry out drilling to determine the distribution and potential economics of the Yambla Prospect and locate the source of the extremely high grade egg-sized pods of near surface uranium mineralisation. Paladin Data Base Licence and Technical SupportPaladin Resources Ltd (Paladin) has granted DYL an exclusive licence to use data from the Paladin database (acquired by Paladin from Uranerz) in relation to the Napperby and NE Arunta project areas and surrounding areas within an approximate 50 km radius. After 5 years, the licence will revert to a non-exclusive royalty free licence in perpetuity.

NORTHERN TERRITORY / WESTERN AUSTRALIA Tanami - Arunta Project (DYL: 100%):
Uranium Rights to 53,000km2 in Tanami-Arunta Province
The Company acquired the uranium rights to all of Tanami Gold NL’s (Tanami) tenements in the Tanami-Arunta Province of the Northern Territory & Western Australia. This acquisition provides DYL with access to an extensive exploration package containing numerous prospective targets for uranium exploration and builds on the Company’s existing commitment to exploration in the Northern Territory via its Napperby and NE Arunta Projects. DYL is responsible for negotiating access to the areas of interest (CLC and Native Title). In the 1970’s and early 1980’s extensive uranium exploration programs were conducted in the Alice Springs region where companies had access to Crown Land. Numerous small vein-type metasomatic uranium occurrences were located in the highly metamorphosed granulite facies complexes in the Harts Range area. Additionally outcropping sandstone - hosted deposits were found at Bigrlyi and Angela. Surficial, calcrete–hosted deposits (e.g. Currinya) and redox palaeo-channel deposits (e.g. New Well, see above) were also discovered. Although a significant uranium footprint was identified in the district the real focus at the time shifted after discovery of the world-class Alligator River uranium field in the ‘top-end’ of the Northern Territory, leaving the Alice Springs region under-explored.
The acquisition of the uranium rights to the Tanami Gold tenements represents a major opportunity for DYL to gain access to large areas of the Tanami-Arunta Province. The Province presents a range of uranium targets that, in general, have been neglected over the past 10-15 years.  It is probably the only realistic target area for the Unconformity-Style Uranium left in Australia outside the National Parks (Rudall River and Kakadu-Alligator River) and Arnhem Land.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA Frome Basin Database & Siccus JV (DYL: 90%):
In September 2005 DYL acquired Paladin’s 90% interest in the Siccus Joint Venture in the Frome Basin of South Australia.  This acquisition coupled with the acquisition of an exclusive licence to Paladin’s Frome Basin database is expected to deliver to DYL a strong competitive advantage in this uranium province.
The Frome Basin of South Australia is located 500 km north of Adelaide and is roughly 50,000 km2 in size. Uranium exploration commenced in 1968 and continued until the early 1980’s, focusing on targets occurring within Tertiary palaeochannel systems. Two substantial uranium deposits, Beverley and Honeymoon were discovered in this period. Beverley is the third operating uranium mine in Australia and is successfully utilizing In-Situ Leach (ISL) mining technology.
Previous work undertaken by Paladin has indicated that the region contains numerous radiometric downhole anomalies and other prospective targets that remain inadequately tested.
Siccus JV The Siccus JV lease covers approximately 45 km of prospective channel sands (with three target zones for uranium rollfront mineralisation) and 10 km of potential shoestring sands which holds significant potential for Beverley- type mineralisation in the Namba Formation. Prior exploration has been very limited; sufficient to delineate the basic  geology but insufficient to test for the presence of buried uranium. In particular two anomalous holes on the edge of the channel system were not adequately followed-up. Additionally the main channel, which drains highly uranium rich source rocks to the south, has only been tested by a single hole.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA Ponton North Project (DYL: 100%):
The Exploration Licence Applications for the Ponton North Project cover approximately 1,150 km2. The area contains Tertiary palaeochannels considered highly prospective for uranium and which connect the Mulga Rocks Uranium Deposit discovered by PNC Exploration to the north with the Paladin Ponton Project to the south.
Uranerz drilled the area in the 1980’s and outlined a well defined Tertiary palaeochannel drainage system. This work outlined the Driller’s Corner Prospect at which uranium mineralisation up to 0.14% was detected from widespaced drilling. In addition, two 2 x 0.5 km anomalous areas containing greater than 0.02% U3O8 were delineated during this work confirming that highly uraniferous waters flowed through these channel systems. DYL believes that the ground has the potential for tabular-type uranium deposits.

Die 0,05 waren zur Zeit der Kapitalerhöhung welche seit ca. 1,5 Monaten abgeschlossen ist. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt hat sich der Kurs bei 0,09 und 0,11 stabilisiert. In dieser Range, denke ich, sind Kaufkurse.

 Trench 3 returned a 2 m thick zone of +1,000 ppm (0.1%) U3O8 over 10 m of
channel sampling on both walls of the trench. A peak value of 3,460 ppm
(0.35%) U3O8 over 1.2m was returned from the East Wall.
 That, while the average grade of the deposit as delineated by Uranerz over
the 14 kilometre (km) strike was considered to be sub-economic at 370 ppm
U3O8 the trenching by DYL has provided significant upside by locating
higher grade channels within the overall deposit.
 That the increased U3O8 price of US$41.50 per pound will allow a lower cutoff
grade to be used for future resource estimations and potential mining
operations.
 That following the disappointment of the drill results received in 2005 the
positive results returned from the trenching provide the Board with
confidence to again pursue a resource evaluation programme at Napperby.

As announced to the ASX on 27 April 2006 the assay results from the March 2006 trenching
programme have been received. Mapping of the trenches together with the results confirm that
the uranium mineralisation at Napperby is of classic calcrete-hosted uranium style and that there
is potential to locate higher grade ‘channels’ within the broader mineralised palaeochannel.

Three DYL drill holes were selected for ‘trenching’ within the western mineralised zone (see
Figure 1). These holes returned the following intercepts: -
o Hole NW171: 3 m at 1,104 ppm U3O8 from 2 m (Trench 1)
o Hole NW235: 5 m at 590 ppm U3O8 from 3 m including 3 m at 810 ppm U3O8
from 3 m (Trench 3)
o Hole NW256: 4 m at 720 ppm U3O8 from 2 m (Trench 2)
At each of the three sites clearance was sought from and granted by the Traditional Aboriginal
Owners through the Central Land Council to establish 50 x 25 m cleared pads within which the
trenching could occur. The trenches were sampled down one metre spaced vertical channels at
nominal sample lengths of one metre (see photographs below).

Letzte Wochen waren sehr gute Neuigkeiten v. DEEP YELLOW Ltd. zu erfahren, was zum einen die Bohrergebnisse betrifft und zum anderen die aktuellen Finanzmittel.
DYL konnte über die Bohrergebnisse sichere große Uran-Resourcen in ihren Gebieten nachweisen und das aktuell über 14Mio. an Kapital zur Verfügung steht um weitere Bohrungen und Verträge tätigen zu können. Ich denke, dass sich der Kurs damit endgültig stabilisiert hat, der Newsflow ungebrochen weitergeht und wir uns über steigende Kurse  freuen können. Das Handelsvolumen stimmt !!!

Fazit: Strong Buy, da die Story stimmt zu allem was einen guten Explorer ausmachen muß!

warum hier nicht mal langsam ein schub nach norden einsetzt?? klasse ergebnisse, klasse aussichten, klasse chartsituation! was will man mehr? Oder liegt es an der Zinserhöhung in Chinamannland??
Ich verstehe australische Rohstoffwerte einfach nicht, weder Deep Yellow noch Macmin!?

Die Antwort lautet, dass der Wert einfach noch unentdeckt ist und v. keinerlei Brokern o. Börsenbriefen empfohlen wird. Ich denke, dass wir noch 1, 2 o.3 gute Nachrichten abwarten müssen bevor ein starker Anstieg zu verzeichnen sein wird.

Nach dem guten Newsflow und den kontinuierlich guten Nachrichten dürfte das nicht mehr all zu lange dauern. Entspannt abwarten u. bei Kursrücksetzern einsammeln.

Ich habe soviele unentdeckte Explorer auf meiner Watchliste, aber keiner hat ein vergleichbares Handelsvolumen o. Eigenkapital, was einen wichtigen Bestandteil eines Newcomers ausmacht!

vielleicht sollten wir noch einen weiteren thread aufmachen: "Fricks neue Rohstoffrakete" oder so. Aber eigentlich bin ich ganz froh wenn in einem thread was halbwegs sinnvolles steht nicht soviel schrott wie bei einigen anderen Werten....

Ich sehe die Uranaktien eher als langfristiges Engagement an. Der Uranpreis steht aktuell pro Pfund bei ca. 41,5 Dollar. Im Hoch war der Uranpreis bei ca. 100 Dollar. In Zukunft wird die Urannachfrage (Bau v. Atomkraftwerken in Europa; Amerika; Asien) rapide ansteigen was den Preis beflügeln wird.
Im Gegensatz zu anderen Rohstoffen haben wir hier noch enormes Nachholpotential.

Als Beispiel für einen damals unentdeckte Uranexplorer ist Paladin Resources (+ ca. 2000%) zu nennen. Paladin Res. ist übrigens Großaktionär v. DEEP YELLOW Ltd..

dann bin ich ja doch nicht allein. Mein erster Kurs war auch bei 10,9 und dann noch einer bei 10,0 und einer bei 6,7 und im Schnitt 9,0 :-)) Heute in Aussiland bei 16. Geht langsam aber stetig wieder schön nach oben....

@quicksilver: Also ich sehe das ähnlich wie reality in posting 29, der Widerstand in Aussliand liegt bei 16 aussicent, und da waren wir heute. Bei uns ist das ein Bereich zwischen 10-11 eurocent. Wenn wir diesen Bereich endlich mal knacken könnten, dann könnte es ganz schnuckelig abgehen....Aber angesichts unsere Miniumsätze müssen die Aussis helfen....

Nach Angaben v. Deep Yellow stehen aktuell ca. 16Mio. an Kapital zur Verfügung. Mit diesem Kapital soll primär im Ausland zugekauft, Joint-Ventures und weitere Drillprogramme durchgeführt werden. Der anstehende Newsflow sollte dann den Kurs endlich mal über die 0,16 hiefen, damit ist der Weg erstmal nach oben hin offen.

previously outlined by wide spaced drilling.
The drilling is being carried out using a Piling Rig drilling large diameter holes (60 cm)
to 10 m depth. The drilling and assaying of samples will be completed during the
September quarter.
Durong Project, Queensland (90%)
The Company (90%) in partnership with Superior Resources Limited (10%) has
applied for five Exploration Permits EPMs 15615, 15620 to 15624 covering
approximately 1600 km² to the west and northwest of Kingaroy in southeast
Queensland.
Superior Resources Limited (SRL) holds EPM 15120 ‘Goggs Creek’ located
northwest of Kingaroy. The EPM covers a moderate order uranium anomaly in
the Department of Natural Resources and Mines Kingaroy-Mackay airborne
radiometric survey.
Mapping by SRL has shown that the uranium anomaly was sourced from Tertiary
fluvial sediments overlying the Boondooma Granite which has a reasonably high
uranium content as indicated by the airborne radiometric survey and as such is a
potential source of uranium for sandstone/roll front uranium deposits located in
Tertiary channel sediments. It was this model that attracted DYL to the project
area and led to the five applications.
The area to the west of Goggs Creek at Durong is underlain by Tertiary
sediments which were deposited in a major palaeo-river system. For a large part
of the Tertiary period the Durong area drained to the southwest along a major
river system that shows in the Australian Digital Terrain model.
During this time it is likely that uranium released from weathering and erosion of
the radiogenic Boondooma Granite would have been transported in ground
waters down this southwest flowing river. It is likely that some of this uranium
would have been deposited by reducing agents, including pyrite and organic
material and/or other fixing agents in the Tertiary sediments and it is possible that
economic deposits of uranium may exist in the area.
Without subsurface information about the existence and location of reductionoxidation
fronts in the Tertiary sediments it is difficult to interpret where the
deposits might occur. However it would appear likely that these would occur in
the first 30 kilometres or so of the channel. The five Durong applications cover
the first 55 kilometres of the southwest trending Tertiary palaeochannel.
Initial exploration will focus on existing drill holes and borehole logs in order to
better define the palaeodrainage with respect to channel development and the
presence of reducing beds to trigger uranium deposition.

Während der Preis Ende 2000 bei nur sieben USD je Pfund notierte, explodierte Uran mittlerweile auf 45 USD/Pfund. Einzelne Branchenexperten erwarten langfristig sogar ein Preisniveau von 100 USD pro Pfund.

Uranium Exploration Australia. Das gute Stück ist innerhalb von 3Wochen von 0,08EUR auf 0,37EUR gestiegen ohne großartigen News. Bei Deep Yellow dagegen ist ein positiver konstanter Newsflow gegeben. Es ist also nur noch eine Frage der Zeit bis wir hier loslaufen. Ich denke, dass der Startschuß beim knacken der 0,16Austr.Dollar gegeben ist.

Wie der Homepage zu entnehmen ist, wurde das Labor mit einer genaueren Untersuchung der Bohrergebnisse beauftragt. Möglicherweise gibt dies dem Kurs endlich den Schub.

Die Aktie ist anscheinend auf Antrag der Unternehmensführung von Deep Yellow vom Handel ausgesetzt worden.
Die Frage in die Runde ist, ob das gut oder schlecht ist.

ob das jetzt eine zweite anaconda wird?? bin sehr gespannt! Kann dir aber leider auch nicht sagen ob das gut oder schlecht ausgehen wird. Gefühlsmäßig eher gut, da sie ja vorher stark angezogen hat, da könnte man auf insiderwissen spekulieren...???

An diesem Datum haben sie schonmal genau das gleiche gemacht und danach konnte die Aktie ordentlich zulegen. Ging aber auch schnell wieder runter! Siehe Chart.

Hab das letzte Filing mit Genuss gelesen. Halt ich für vorteilhaft nach Namibia zu targeten. Nicht weil das property so gut ist, sondern weil der Hauch von Paladin Ressources dann auch an diesem Wert haftet.

Hab auch das Filing gelesen. Falls ich es richtig verstanden habe, und das glaube ich zumindest, steht uns eine 1:5 Kapmaßnahme zu AUD 0,12 ins Haus.

Bei den Momentanen Umsätzen (in Australien) sind aber auf jeden Fall noch deutliche Kurszuwächse drinn.

Sydney (aktiencheck.de AG) - Beflügelt von anziehenden Rohstoffpreisen ist der australische Aktienmarkt mit Kursgewinnen in die neue Woche gestartet und notiert nur knapp unter den Höchstständen aus dem Mai. So verbesserte sich der All Ordinaries-Index bis Handelsende um 0,43 Prozent auf 5.276,40 Indexpunkte, während es für den ASX 200 um 0,40 Prozent auf 5.311,00 Zähler aufwärts ging.

Minentitel profitieren dabei von anziehenden Metallpreisen und zählten zu den größten Gewinnern, unter anderem verfestigten sich BHP Billiton um 3,2 Prozent und Rio Tinto um 2,5 Prozent. Grüne Vorzeichen auch im Goldsektor, unter anderem ging es hier für Oxiana um 1,5 Prozent und für Lihir Gold um 2,6 Prozent aufwärts. Der jüngste Ölpreisanstieg verhalf auch dem Ölsektor zu einer freundlichen Entwicklung, so zogen Woodside Petroleum um 0,6 Prozent und Santos um 0,2 Prozent an.

Bzgl. der Kapitalerhöhung die ich erwähnte:

Leider funktioniert es nicht die Passage zu kopieren, also bitte ich euch mal reinzusehen.

Im Newsrealease vom 13.10.06 ist ein Unterpunkt "Proposed Entitlement Issue" Darin wird kann man lesen, dass das Management beschlossen hat die Kosten für die Übernahme an die Aktionäre abzuwälzen. Und zwar indem man 1:5 bei den alten Shares macht und die neuen für 0,12 AUD rausklopft. Ein gutes Geschäft für jeden, wenn man bedenkt, dass wir bereits bei 0,19 AUD notieren.

So lese das zumindest ich. Aber mein Englisch ist nicht perfekt. Kann ich auch falsch interpretieren. Schaut mal rein und gebt eure Meinung dazu ab.

Der Wert hat ordentlich Power. Das High von 0,485 AUD wäre zwar herrlich gewesen, aber ich geb mich auch mit gut 15 % Tagesgewinn zufrieden. Man soll ja nicht unverschämt werden. Aber wie sich zeigt könnte sich der Threadname als wahrhaftig erweisen.

Deep Yellow als zweite Paladin - könnte ich mir gut vorstellen.

Nach dem fulminaten Anstieg gestern, haben wohl einige in Sydney Gewinne realisiert.
Trotzdem wird die weltweite Knappheit ( siehe Spotmarktpreise per 20 Nov. )nach Uran auch unser Baby weiter beflügeln. Bei diesen Preisen wird die Förderung richtig Spaß machen, es werden Gewinne kommen und die Kurse antreiben.

Weiß nicht was du mit foreign shareholders meinst. Ich hab meine Stücke bei meinem Broker bereits platziert und auch das Bloomberg System meint das alle berechtigt sind die in Deutschland oder Australien halten.

Einbuchungstag soll der 15.12.06 sein. Das gibt dann einen guten Schub fürs Depot.

Und natürlich bin ich zuversichtlich für DYL. Guter Wert - kann man ruhig liegen lassen und dann 2009-2012 am Höhepunkt des Uranhypes mit 10.000 % Gewinn versilbern. Da macht Geldverdienen wieder Spaß.

Was den Kursanstieg angeht: DYL wird am 28.02.07 2 weitere Gesellschaften zu seinem Portfolio zufügen.

Zum einen Raptor Minerals

und zum anderen Superior Metals.

Meiner Meinung nach die Strategie für ShareholderValue. Kommt ein Explorer in Reichweite wird er einfach geschluckt. Geld ist ja jetzt nach der Kapitalerhöhung genug da. DYL macht es wie die Majors, ist selbst aber eine kleine Bude. Da ist ein ordentlicher Hebel für die nächsten Jahre zu erwarten.
