At its sole discretion Santos may withdraw from the farm-in at the end of Phase 1 or end of Phase 2. If Santos elects to withdraw before completing the US$24 million in expenditure it does not retain any equity in the oil projects.
Santos has the discretion to change the content of the expected work programme, in consultation with Caspian, as dictated by the technical demands that emerge over the implementation of the programme, whilst expending the committed amounts thereon.
Santos will complete a feasibility study by 1 January 2006 to determine whether it will participate in the development of the shallow northern prospects (defined as to a depth of up to 1,000m at the Charvak, East Mailisu, West Mailisu and Ashvaz licences). If it decides to proceed with the development, Santos must sole fund expenditure of US$2 million by 31 December 2006 and a further US$2 million by 30 June 2008 to earn its 80% equity. If Santos elects not to proceed, Caspian may develop these shallow structures on its own or farm them out to another operator. This facet of the arrangement has the potential to elevate Caspian to a producer status within a relatively short period of time.
Placement
Under the ASX Listing Rules the placement to Santos of 100 million fully paid ordinary shares in the Company, which will represent approximately 15% of Caspian’s enlarged capital, must be approved by shareholders. This approval will be sought at the recently convened general meeting to be held on 19 August 2005.
The proceeds raised from the placement to Santos will be used by the Company to finalise vendor payments on the oil projects and for ongoing operating expenses.
On or before settlement, Santos has the right to subscribe for an additional 40 million fully paid ordinary Caspian shares on the same terms that Caspian may issue shares to other investors after entering into the letter agreement, or the volume weighted average market price for the 30 days to 5 August 2005 if there are no other share issues. Santos will also be granted the right to participate in future share issues by Caspian at the same price per share as the other participants to maintain its percentage shareholding in Caspian.

Santos due diligence and approvals (if any) from the Kyrgyz Government are required to be completed by 23 September 2005. Subject to the satisfactory completion of these outstanding conditions, the transaction is expected to settle on or before 23 September 2005.

So beschloss das Unternehmen, sich auch im Lande des größten afrikanischen Ölproduzenten, Nigeria, zu engagieren. Mittel zum Zweck ist das 60 zu 40 Joint Venture mit der nigerianischen Firma Derock.

Energulf entwickelt sich langsam aber sicher zu einem sehr großen Lizenzhalter an Öl- und Gasexplorationsrechten in Afrika. einen Zeitraum von 1 Tag sieht! Trotzdem sieht es gut aus. Australien hat unter dem Strich im positiven Bereich geschlossen und es wurden über 54 Millionen Aktien umgesetzt. Tendens weiterhin steigend.

Mein Anlegehorizont ist bei solche Werte sowieso mehr als 12 Monate. Ich verkaufe nur wirklich sehr schlechter Nachricht solche Werte. Und mit dieser Strategie bin ich bisher immer sehr gut gefahren!  

A condition to the Santos Subscription Agreement requires Caspian to settle its outstanding liabilities to the vendors of the Kyrgyz oil projects immediately rather than on the deferred basis previously agreed with the vendor. Consequently, Caspian will now proceed to issue 30 million fully paid ordinary shares and make payment of US$2 million in full and final settlement of all liabilities to the vendor of the oil projects.
The Farmin Agreement provides for Santos to:
• sole fund, manage and operate staged work programs up to the value of US$28 million over all of the licences to earn an 80% interest in those projects over a period of approximately four years; and
• pay a cash consideration of US$1 million for use of the technical database relating to the Kyrgyz operations.
The Kyrgyz oil projects covering approximately 16,500 sq km are currently owned 100% by Caspian subsidiary JSC Textonic. With the exception of the Aksai prospecting licence, they are situated in the Fergana Basin, an established oil producing region with a production history dating back over a century.
Three Santos teams have commenced work on the projects. Two geological teams are assessing the geology on the deeper prospects and one team is conducting a review of the production potential from shallow structures on the northern Fergana licences.

Mit 37 Millionen Euro Marktwert ist Caspian, aufgrund der hervorragenden Aussichten, noch immer ein klarer Kauf! Beachten Sie das überdurchschnittliche Volumen an der Heimatbörse in Australien, das nicht von der Aussendung einer Newsrelease herrührt!

Ich denke so langsam kann man getrost die Überschrift ändern. Hinter dieser Aktie wird mehr stecken als ein Zock. Alleine die sehr nahen Gerüchte um eine Übernahme, lassen die Aktie weiter steigen. An fast jedem Handelstag steigt die Aktie in Australien weiter. Gestern hat Sie eine kurze Pause eingelegt. Derzeitger RT drüben 0,098.
Ich will keine Werbung für ein anderes Forum machen, aber im WO Board wird sehr ausführlich darüber berichtet.  ;-)

Es lässt sich erkennen, dass es hier wohl doch nicht um ein Zock geht.

1. Seit Juni 100 Prozent plus. Aktie bleibt stabil und hat heute wieder nach Norden gedreht.

2. Mit Santos hat sich ein großes Unternehmen an Caspian beteiligt. Warum wohl nur !?!?

3. Im Gegensatz zu Energulf steht hier schon die Finanzierung!!!

4. Bohrungen werden in Kürze starten.

5. Man wird wohl nicht schlecht liegen wenn man noch bei 5 Cent einsteigt bevor sich die große Masse drauf stürzt.

Ich persönlich halte eine Verzehnfachung der Aktie bis Januar für möglich.

Caspian Oil & Gas to Commence Drilling in Kyrgyz Republic

Following a recent announcement of the purchase of a new US$3.5 million oil rig from China, Caspian Oil & Gas has reported the commencement of a four to six week road journey for the rig to neighbouring Kyrgyz Republic.

“After a commissioning period the rig will start the first of the Company’s drilling programme at its Mailisu III leases a 70% Caspian owned joint venture with local Government oil company KNG, in late July – early August,” according to Chief Operating Officer Graeme Parsons.

“The eleven well drilling programme will see four wells sunk at our Mailisu III lease and additional wells on shallow (<1,000m) prospects on the Ashvaz, East Mailisu and Charvak licences, where Caspian will have the rights to 100% o the oil produced.

“We expect this to move us into our next phase of development, that of a commercial oil producer,” Mr Parsons said. The convoy of over 50 vehicles will cross China to assemble at a base in Kashi on the western edge of the Taklamkan Desert. From there it will follow the old Silk Road across the Tien Shan Mountains through a 3,500m pass. The road continues on to Osh, a 3000year old market town and the Kyrgyz Republic’s second largest city, and then to its final destination at Mailisu, a journey of over 4000km.

“The rig has undergone rigorous inspections prior to its departure from China to achieve internationally certification,” Mr Parson said. “We expect to see considerable demand for hire of the rig by other Kyrgyz based companies if we have any time between our own drilling programmes,” he said.
