Bear Lake Gold Reports Proposed Class Action

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 27, 2009) - Bear Lake Gold Ltd. ("Bear Lake") (TSX VENTURE:BLG) announces that it has been made aware that a proposed class action was commenced in the Ontario Superior Court on August 25, 2009 by Gary Henault, alleging that Bear Lake and others made certain misrepresentations during the period July 18, 2006 to July 28, 2009 regarding Bear Lake's Larder Lake project. The plaintiff will need to seek leave or permission of the court to bring the class action under Secondary Market Disclosure provisions of the Securities Act.
