später nicht nur Alibaba, Tencent, 500.com und andere.

Several online lottery sales platforms in the mainland have been closed, including those of Tencent Holdings (0700) and Alibaba, reflecting Beijing's determination to clean up the industry.
Alibaba said on its Weibo page on Saturday that it has suspended sales of all types of lotteries on the Taobao Lottery platform in response to an order from the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the General Administration of Sport .
Tencent Holdings confirmed that all lottery business on its QQ and PC platform has been suspended, while some lottery products are still for sale on its WeChat platform. More than three listed online lottery operators said they have stopped business.
This is after New York-listed 500.com, a mainland online sports- lottery operator, said last week that some provincial sports lottery centers, where it provides sales services, plan to temporarily suspend accepting online purchase orders for four lottery products.
Its shares slumped 43 percent in four days after the statement as five US law firms announced they are investigating the legality of the firm's business.
Sales of the four lottery products made up nearly 10 percent of the firm's revenue in 2014.
On February 11, three China ministries issued a notice saying that they will "fundamentally purge illegal cases in the online lottery industry."
The online market contributed 22.2 percent to a total of 382.38 billion yuan lottery income in China last year, but it is also alleged to have become a hotbed for fraud.
A suspension of all online lottery business in China may come soon. It could last at least two to three months.
