Wo seht ihr den Afren Kurs ultimo 2010 ?
Mein Tip: 1,85 GBP macht beim derzeitigen Kurs, so um die 2 EUR bis 2,10 EUR
Das Jahr ist rum, in London wird noch bissl gehandelt, aber das wird wohl nix mehr mit meiner Prognose.
Wo stehn wir jetzt: London 1,45 GBP und Frankfurt 1,70 EUR - da fehlten 20% zum Verdoppler, nicht übel, angesichts der havarierten Deepwater Horizon (die wohl im gesamten 1.Hj. auf der gesamten Branche lag)
2011 steht vor der Tür, Afren entwickelt sich prächtig - da sind 100% auch im nächsten Jahr drin !

First Hydrocarbon Nigeria (“FHN”) has today announced the appointment of Adebayo Ayorinde and Faiz Imam to the FHN Board of Directors and Ahonsi Unuigbe as Chief Financial Officer. Afren plc (“Afren” or the “Company”) holds a 45 per cent. shareholding in FHN.
FHN has today announced the appointment of Faiz Imam and Adebayo Ayorinde to its Board of Directors. Ahonsi Unuigbe also joins FHN as Chief Financial Officer.

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Broker finnCap keeps its negative stance on Africa-focused oil and gas firm Afren, saying that the company does not have a good exploration track record and delays could reduce the upside potential significantly.
The broker says that there were no real surprises in the group’s full year results, which were 9% below its forecasts at the operating level.
A ten-well exploration and appraisal programme targeting over 630 million barrels of net resource potential “is likely to be the key area of excitement for investors”, said analyst Will Arnstein. However, he thinks that several wells could be deferred until 2012.
“With the valuation premium under-pinned by high risk assets and limited tangible value, we reiterate our ‘sell’ recommendation,” said Arnstein. A target price of 100p is retained.

Klar, Afrika insgesamt ist 'ne heikle Gegend und besonders Nigeria - es gibt Öl - das weckt Begehrlichkeiten....
