The advisory board was created to provide guidance in the final development and marketing of the InstaCool™ chilling system, for which Balsam holds an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement. The agreement gives Balsam the ability to market the unique InstaCool™ chilling system globally, including the right to sub license.
Mr. Kurz is the majority shareholder in Evolution X, www.xxxenergy.de, a producer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic energy beverages, and is President and CEO of TDC MARKETING NETWORK GMBH, (TDC), a marketing company with a specific focus on the beverage industry. Mr. Kurz has helped guide Evolution X into the position of being a leading supplier of mixed alcoholic energy drinks in Germany and was key in negotiating the distribution of the Evolution product line with one of the leading beverage distributors in Germany. With the introduction of two new flavors in the near future, Evolution X believes it will further increase its share as a leader in the alcoholic energy drink category.
On August 2nd Balsam announced that it had signed a Letter of Intent with TDC, and that TDC makes and distributes alcoholic and non-alcoholic energy drinks. TDC was wrongly credited with "makes and distributes" the energy drinks, which is actually Evolution X GmbH, who also signed the Letter of Intent. TDC is the marketing advisor to Evolution X and as mentioned has been a key component in the success of making Evolution X a leading supplier of alcoholic mixed energy drinks in Germany.
