Ist aber ansonsten nur zum zocken, werden eventuell übernommen oder es gibt gar nichts

machen die noch geschäfte oder nur schulden u sind die in insolvenz ?
 

AMD ist letzten Monat eingestiegen und hat einen Chip von Patriot lizenziert
Der Prozess mit intel läuft noch, nur die Entscheidung ob der Patentanwalt von damal aussagen darf wurde negativ beurteilt
Patriot hat die Unterlagen über das alleinige patent, die Gegenseite hat nichts (Unterlagen wurden verlegt...ja, meine Oma sitzt im Hünerstall und strickt Panzer...klar doch)
und den Rest musste dir schon selbst erlesen

Ich sehe die Sache genauso wie westcliff. Bei der Marekt-Cap wird es bei dieser Patentstreitigkeit noch zu überraschungen kommen.

Zunächst ist aber jetzt die Veröffentlichung nach Börsenschluss interessant.

Jeff Wallin, president and CEO of Patriot Scientific, said, "This quarterly profit resulted from licensing agreements for our microprocessor patent portfolio of seven issued patents and our core technology, the IGNITE microprocessor. The patent portfolio license was the first granted under our focused strategy to assure that users of our technology remunerate Patriot. The positive net income in the quarter was negatively impacted by $1.2 million in interest charges. However, as a result of the cash flow from the licensing agreements, we expect to eliminate the need for financings with high interest costs and resultant dilution. For the nine months, an interest charge of $2.4 million accounted for the $1.5 million loss. At the end of the quarter, we had over $1 million in cash and short-term investments, $2.7 million in license fees receivable and approximately $3 million of working capital.

"We are accelerating our licensing policy, which we anticipate will result in additional licensing or settlement fees," Wallin continued. "We also are pursuing our current litigation (Case Number C040439), in which we claim full ownership of one of the more significant patents in the portfolio. Recently, Judge Fogel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California issued an order disqualifying our counsel and prohibiting the testimony of our original patent prosecution attorney. We are currently interviewing alternative counsel to continue the case following a reconsideration motion denied by Judge Fogel."

I think personally it was a great snow job by AMD to present what they did with PTSC as a "we needed to cover our butts" to the general media and they bought it. The media has always presented PTSC products, their chips, as "controversial".

AMD doesn't want anyone to know their internal business, especially INTC, so by deploying the mindset of "CYA", and making PTSC sign a long term NDA, most of what we want to know about the long term relationship with AMD will never come out though media outlets. Thats exactly the way AMD wants it, as in don't spell out that we needed a .03 cent stock to bring our consumer products up to par and beyond.

AMD's general plan was well thought out regarding the why, when and where of actually finding the technology to enter just what you mentioned: "consumer market".
