The new entity, Transocean Partners LLC, expects to sell 51% partnership units in each of the three rigs, while

Vernier, Switzerland-based Transocean Ltd. retains the remaining 49% stakes, the company said in a federal filing June 23.

HUGE Put Option Sale Seen in Transocean (RIG)

The drilling group is seeing some action this month, after Ensco plc (ESV) earlier this week, now a large investor is selling 18,000 + Jan 2016 $30 PUTS in Transocean Ltd (RIG).  The investor sold those puts for $1.04, at the bid, for gross proceeds of almost $1.9 Million.

Clearly this investor knows with certainty that Transocean (NYSE:RIG) has nowhere to go but up.  Of course with the drillers sector on fire now, this appears to be a pretty good bet, even without insider knowledge.

Ich weiss gar nicht wie wenig Sachverstand man haben muss um diese Aktie für unter 30€ zu verkaufen...

Mich freuts, nehme auch gerne noch mehr davon...

Die die unter 30 verkaufen werden sich vermutlich in paar Jahren sonstwo hinkneiffen...

The Annual Effective Tax Rate(1) was 12.6 percent, down from 15.1 percent sequentially;

Net income attributable to controlling interest and adjusted earnings from continuing operations, were each $587 million, or $1.61 per diluted share;

Cash flows from operating activities were $636 million, compared with $136 million in the first quarter of 2014;

ich hoffe der Kursverlust der letzten Tage wird jetzt ein wenig aufgeholt.

@KarstenBarth: Ich bin in Transocean über CFDs investiert und finde, das funktioniert eigentlich ganz gut. Man zahlt natürlich Zinsen auf den gehebelten Betrag, wenn man die Aktie über Nacht stehen lässt. Bei 2,25% p.a. (bei flatex) lässt sich das aber verschmerzen. Das Verhältnis von Margin und Gesamtkapital kann man entsprechend den eigenen Risikovorlieben wählen. Eigentlich sind CFDs ja eher fürs kurzfristige Zocken (was nicht mein Fall ist). In Ausnahmefällen wie hier kann man es aber auch mal längerfristige Investments nehmen. Aktuell ist meine Position jetzt leider im Minus. Aber nach diesem earnings report bin ich wieder eher optimistisch.

nur der Börsenkurs / Marktkapitalisierung dagegen ist ein Witz...

Weiter so! und immer weiter billig einkaufen...

ich würde die aktie dennoch vorziehen, schon auch allein wegen der schönen Div.-Rendite...

TO ist in meinen Augen eine klassische Value-Aktie. Billig einkaufen und liegenlassen, die Aktie dürfte schon in wenigen Jahren Traumrenditen auf Basis der heutigen Kurse abwerfen.

Zum kurzfristigen Zocken würde ich mir andere Werte und Instrumente aussuchen.
