Roc Oil says Zhao Dong block oil production rises to 25,000 bopd
Roc Oil Company Ltd reported an increase in gross production from the C&D oil fields in the Zhao Dong Block, off China, to 25,000 barrels from mid-year production levels which were ""in the high teens.""
The lift in production coincides with a record realised price of 81 usd per barrel, the company said. Roc Oil expects to exit 2007 with production from Zhao Dong in excess of the 22,000 bopd pumped in 2006.
The company also said it expects to drill the last well in the thirteen-well 2007 Zhao Dong drilling programme in early December. Work on the new facilities for the C4 oil field development are continuing, it said
