An exciting opportunity exists for a creative, entrepreneurial, sales-focused individual with a strong sales background in IVD or Pharmaceuticals.
Purpose
We require a self-starting multi-tasker experienced in diagnostic or medical device sales to help grow and manage the International distribution sales network for Response�s rapid point-of-care detection system.
The successful candidate will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, sales processes, and will be responsible for forecasting and budget.
The position requires a proven track record in sales and post secondary education (degree or diploma) in marketing and/or related science discipline. With 3 to 5 years work experience in marketing/sales, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical firm with strong sales experience. Exceptional personal interaction skills; outgoing, confident, and strong personal presentation is a must.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage sales and marketing strategies, marketing and implementation plans.
* Develop and manage database of key clients, distributors, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships and negotiating/closing sales and partnership contracts.
* Conducts competitive reviews of and monitors competitive technologies and companies worldwide.
* Develop and coordinate production of collateral marketing and sales materials.
* Coordinates and attends trade shows/seminars.
* Oversees the development and implementation of sales program and customer service systems.
* Sales forecasting, profit planning, budgeting, costs and margins analysis.
* Market research and research/analysis of product markets and end user groups.
* Analyzes new market areas and develops business cases/makes recommendations for new projects.
The successful candidate qualifications will include:
* Post Secondary education (Degree or Diploma) in Marketing and/or related science
* Highly committed to an IVD Sales Career
* 3-5 years work experience in marketing/sales, preferably in a biotechnology or medical devices firm
* Understands the technology encompassed by RAMP system
* Strong relationship builder
* Excellent communication/presentation skills
* Excellent writing and organization skills and the ability to multi-task
* Travel to International locations as required
* Bilingual in a major Asian or European Language
* Unusual level of Drive, Competitive spirit and track record of Achievement
* Strong computer skills in MS Office software and skilled in Web-based research activities
* Work well within a consultative team-oriented environment
* Accountable
