PERGO AND SEMA GROUP  ANNOUNCE
U.S. OUTSOURCING AGREEMENT

Pergo, world leader in the manufacture and supply of laminate floor coverings, and Sema Group, world leading IT and business services company today announced that they have entered into an outsourcing agreement to facilitate the provision of IS/IT services to Pergo, Inc’s userbase in the United States.

The agreement, which commenced July 1, 2000, covers a minimum period of five years and has an approximate value of $10 million.

The outsourcing agreement charges Sema Group Inc., the US subsidiary of Sema Group plc, with full responsibility for the provision of all aspects of the IS/IT Services delivered to Pergo, Inc’s US user base.

This contract extends the relationship which Sema Group and Perstorp have enjoyed for some years in Europe and Scandinavia to a truly global basis. Pergo Inc. is the US subsidiary of Perstorp AB.

Frank Jones, Executive Vice President of Sema Group, said, “This contract heralds Sema Group’s entry into the U.S. outsourcing services marketplace and extends our valued long term relationship with Perstorp Corporation. We look forward to building a successful partnership with Pergo, Inc.”

Peter Billquist, Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Perstorp AB, said, “We always look at ways to provide the necessary technology to support our business needs, remain competitive and respond to our customer demands for speed and efficiency. As a result we have decided to outsource the Pergo, Inc. Information Technology function to Sema Group which will give Pergo, Inc. access to new competencies needed for ever changing business requirements in the fast moving IT environment where new skill sets are often required. We also believe that it will offer our IT staff better opportunities to grow and develop in their chosen profession.”

FERRARI WORLD CLUB CHOOSES SEMA GROUP
FOR ITS NEW MULTI-CHANNEL CRM SYSTEM




Ferrari Idea SA – the company responsible for marketing the Ferrari brand worldwide – has chosen Sema Group to develop and manage a new customer relationship management (CRM) system for the Ferrari World Club: www.club.ferrari.com

The recently-launched Club gives fans a unique opportunity to get closer to Ferrari’s activities and initiatives. The new CRM system will enable the Ferrari World Club to develop personalised, interactive relationships with Ferrari fans worldwide. Club members will benefit from a direct line to the Ferrari F1 team, providing up-to-the-minute information on Formula 1 and GT road car activities. They will also have the chance to buy exclusive, personalised Ferrari-branded merchandise.

Sema Group has designed and implemented, and is now running a global solution based on an advanced CRM platform. The solution includes:
         ¨§A multi-lingual integrated customer care system, supporting all club activities. Using different channels (phone, e-mail, post, fax) the operators can provide information and handle the subscription process, including payments by bank transfer or credit card.
         ¨§A web site – introducing the Ferrari World Club and enabling on-line subscription – integrated with the main Ferrari web site and the content provider.
         ¨§The delivery of logistics services for packaging and dispatching a welcome pack (the Warm Up Kit), the official club magazine and back-up for competitions.

Following a short trial period, the Club has already received more than a thousand subscriptions and within the next three years plans to have several hundred thousand members.
