Unsere LEHMAN Brothers sind bekanntlich durch ILLEGALES Short-Selling zu Fall gebracht worden. - Wieso aber sollte es erst einer SUBPOENA bedürfen, bevor eine "Claim" zurückzogen wird, die doch dem ersten Eindruck nach vollstens LEGAL war?

Ich schätze derzeit 3stellig, und zwar irgendwo zwischen 100 und 200 Milliarden. Wenn wir aber bedenken, dass im ersten Jahr dieses Verfahrens eine Gesammt-Summe in Höhe von 1'300 bis 1'600 Milliarden an vorgeblichen "Forderungen" gegen LEHMAN geltend gemacht worden war, dann kann man schon sehen, um wieviel besser es inzwischen steht.

Außerdem bin ich der Meinung, dass die Escrows auch SELBER einen Wert repraesentieren.
Zu der Frage, ob die LEHMAN Brothers das auch so sehen, ist von der Company noch nichts Bestimmtes kundgetan worden, jeden Falles bislang nicht in Form von concreten Zahlen.

Ich bin im Übrigen der Meinung, dass unterhalb von 100 Milliarden eine Art von "politischer" Forderungs-Abschmelzung einsetzen wird, die über die bisherige Abschmelzung in Form der Abweisung von Doppelt- und Dreifach-Einreichungen und auch über die bisherige Abweisungen vermittels des investigativen Instrument's der Subpoena ein wenig hinausgeht. Ob das wirklich so kommen wird, bleibt abzuwarten.

Nur 2x 200k Commons habe ich 1:1 in die neuen Escrow-Shares umtauschen lassen; mehr zu wagen, erschien mir nicht ratsam. Doch auch, wenn ich kein einziges Stück umgetauscht hätte, sähe ich mich weiter an das Versprechen gebunden, den in vollem Gange befindlichen Abschmelzungs-Process, soweit mit vertretbarem Aufwande machbar, möglichst 1:1 nachzuzeichnen.
