Intel Sees Fourth-Quarter Sales at High End of Its Forecast
Dec. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Intel Corp., the world's biggest computer-chip maker, said fourth-quarter sales will reach the high end of its forecast as demand rises for laptops and electronics during the holiday-shopping season.

Sales will rise to $8.5 billion to $8.7 billion, the company said in a statement distributed by Business Wire. Santa Clara, California-based Intel had predicted $8.1 billion to $8.7 billion.
