LHS Group Inc. (NASDAQ: LHSG; Neuer Markt: LHI) today announced that, effective January 1, 2000, Gary D. Cuccio will join the company as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Cuccio will report to Mr. Hartmut Lademacher, who will remain Chairman of the Board.

Rudiger Hellmich to Join LHS as Executive Vice President
ATLANTA/FRANKFURT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1999--LHS Group Inc. (NASDAQ: LHSG; Neuer Markt: LHI) today announced that effective October 1, 1999, Rudiger Hellmich will join LHS as Executive Vice President and Chief Business Units Officer (CBO) to lead a newly-formed product lines function and organization. Mr. Hellmich will be responsible for the Business Units comprised of LHS' Customer Care and Billing products (BSCS and Targys), LHS InfoCell (Point of Sale - ConVerge), and LHS Priority Call (Enhanced Services - Oryx), as well as future products/product lines developed or acquired by LHS.
Stefan Sieber, Executive Vice President and Chief Divisional Officer (CDO) will continue to focus on sales and marketing, and delivery for LHS' Divisional Geographic Regions.
Jon Limbird, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), will continue to provide strategic direction for technology and product/product lines, LHS' acquisition strategies, development of technology alliances, and the setting and maintenance of technology standards throughout the company.
