Mehr als 1% meines Depots sollen das auch zunächst nicht werden.

Najarian Calls ASTS Deal A Bullish Bet

Najarian and his brother Pete Najarian broke down the financing and ASTS' selloff in a Market Rebellion video posted on X. The brothers co-founded Market Rebellion, an options-focused market analysis platform, in 2016.

AST SpaceMobile priced $1 billion of 1.625% convertible senior notes due in 2034, with an initial conversion price of $79.57 per share, which was about 20% above Wednesday's close. Jon Najarian said that the notes give buyers the right, but not the obligation, to convert into ASTS shares at that price. While the 1.625% coupon is relatively low, he said the real appeal lies in the potential equity upside.

Stock's negative reaction was understandable

Pete Najarian said that investors were focused on the risk that the notes could eventually convert into shares and dilute existing holders. "They're concerned about dilution and all the rest of it," he said, adding that the stock's negative reaction was "understandable." Still, he agreed the financing could support a valuable long-term opportunity. "I think this could be something into the future that could be pretty special, quite frankly," he said.

ASTS was in the spotlight this week

18.07.26 18:55
ASTS was in the spotlight this week primarily due to financing news and timeline updates. On July 15, the company announced and priced a $1 billion private offering of convertible senior notes due 2034, sparking dilution concerns despite capped calls. It also updated that full commercial service is now targeted for early 2027, delayed from late 2026, due to launch provider uncertainties, while BlueBird 11 arrived at Cape Canaveral ahead of the planned August launch for satellites 11-13.

Some retail investors were confident that the decline in ASTS stock was a buying opportunity.

What sets AST SpaceMobile apart from SpaceX?

22.07.26 22:34

AST and SpaceX's Starlink both produce LEO satellites for internet communications. However, AST mainly helps telecom giants like AT&T and Verizon extend their broadband networks to rural areas that their terrestrial networks can't reach. Starlink provides its own first-party satellite internet service. AST's satellites are also twice the size of Starlink's largest satellites, making them the largest communication arrays ever deployed into orbit.

AST also processes its data on the ground using Radio Access Network (RAN) software, while Starlink processes it in its satellites. AST can upgrade its ground infrastructure to new wireless technologies (such as 6G), but Starlink must completely replace its satellites with each upgrade.

AST also doesn't operate money-losing rocket launch and artificial intelligence (AI) businesses like SpaceX. While AST isn't profitable yet, it has a clear path to profitability because its core business operates similarly to Starlink, SpaceX's only profitable business.

Advantage ASTSpaceMobile

26.07.26 10:55
Both AST and SpaceX are competing for the direct-to-cell market.

But AST's architecture is purpose-built for standard smartphones, which gives it an edge.

Furthermore, the mobile network operators AST has agreements to collectively serve over 2.8 billion existing subscribers, giving AST a very solid distribution base.

Meanwhile, SpaceX's Starlink Direct-to-Cell competes here, but requires T-Mobile's spectrum and is still limited in capability. AST's 3GPP-compliant architecture works across carriers and geographies more extensively.

Clear Street Says AST SpaceMobile’s (NASDAQ: ASTS) 50% Drop From May Peak Is A Prime Entry Point Before Q2 Results

By Ewan Scott  Jul 24, 2026

Clear Street has recommended buying AST SpaceMobile (NASDAQ: ASTS) stock, arguing that its roughly 50% pullback from its May peak reflects temporary disruptions rather than any structural deterioration.

The brokerage said the selloff has been driven by disruptions involving third-party launch vehicles, not by lost customer contracts or a slowdown in demand for direct-to-device satellite connectivity.
Clear Street expects mobile carriers to increasingly adopt AST SpaceMobile’s technology as competition intensifies and operators look to retain subscribers by expanding coverage beyond traditional cellular networks.

SpaceX outlined plans to compete directly with AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile through a "true mobile service."

Traders argued that SpaceX's move from carrier partner to potential competitor could increase demand for ASTS as an independent satellite alternative.

Unlike SpaceX, ASTS does not sell directly to consumers and instead integrates its satellite coverage with carriers' existing spectrum and networks.

Upcoming Launch Manifest and Operational Expansion

To boost orbital capacity and increase coverage frequency over Japan, AST SpaceMobile is scheduled to launch three additional production-class BlueBird satellites on August 5, 2026. The spacecraft will lift off aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, with targeted launch timing set for 3:42 a.m. EDT.

Upon successful orbital insertion and array deployment, the additional satellites will enter service within weeks, reducing latency and expanding the operational duty cycle of the D2C service across Japan ahead of broader global commercial rollouts.

1,000 Reasons to Buy AST SpaceMobile Stock Now

27.08.26 21:49

Aditya Raghunath

Thu, August 27, 2026

Space companies recently received a government tailwind, making AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) an attractive stock to own. Valued at a market capitalization of more than $24 billion, ASTS stock has returned 400% over the last five years. However, shares are also down 55% from all-time highs, giving investors a chance to buy the dip.

AST SpaceMobile has spent years promising a satellite network that could easily integrate with a smartphone. The promise is now materializing into contracts and a growing list of partners. Moreover, a new policy push out of Washington could hand the entire space sector — ASTS stock included — a meaningful boost.

AST SpaceMobile now counts more than 60 mobile network operator partners covering more than 3 billion subscribers, including AT&T (T), Verizon (VZ), Vodafone (VODPF), Rakuten (RKUNF), and Bell Canada (BCE).

In the Q2 report, management reiterated full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $150 million to $200 million. Contracted revenue and government awards now total roughly $1.3 billion, up sharply from prior quarters.

President Scott Wisniewski told investors that the company expects revenue to approach $1 billion in its first full year of commercial service, split roughly evenly between government and commercial customers.

The company recently landed three new U.S. contract awards worth more than $100 million combined. Executives also pointed to a pending roughly $1 billion award tied to Japan's J LEO satellite infrastructure program with long-time partner Rakuten.

Rakuten-ASTS Venture Takes On Starlink

Rakuten Group CEO Hiroshi Mikitani said the company plans to form a satellite-business joint venture with AST SpaceMobile in 2026. The partners will hold equal stakes, while Rakuten will lead management. The venture would put Rakuten directly against Japan's larger wireless rivals, which already offer direct-to-cell connectivity through SpaceX's Starlink network. KDDI introduced the service in 2025, with SoftBank and NTT Docomo following in 2026.

Rakuten expects to begin rolling out its satellite-to-smartphone service in phases at the end of 2026 and is targeting nationwide coverage in fiscal 2027.

AST SpaceMobile received the highest target among the group, at $92. Filatov said AST is "the only company to have demonstrated true cellular broadband from space to unmodified smartphones," backed by more than 60 mobile network operator partnerships covering roughly 3 billion subscribers.

ASTS is steadily broadening its ecosystem

14.09.26 17:46
AST SpaceMobile, Inc. ASTS is steadily broadening its mobile network operator (MNO) ecosystem. It is moving closer to commercializing its space-based cellular broadband service. The company now has partnerships with more than 60 MNOs globally, collectively representing more than 3 billion subscribers.

Its strategy of collaborating with existing telecom operators rather than competing directly with them is a positive. Its direct-to-device architecture is designed to integrate with terrestrial mobile networks and allow subscribers to connect through ordinary, unmodified smartphones. The company's partner network has expanded across several major markets. AST SpaceMobile cited relationships with operators including AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone, Rakuten, STC Group, Bell Canada and Telus. It is also engaged with more than 20 MNOs across more than 50 country markets.

Europe is emerging as an important part of this expansion. Integration testing is underway across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Romania, France, the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and Ukraine with Vodafone, Orange, Telefónica, Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone Ukraine.
