GOFF saw a new high today of 65 cents before closing slightly in the red at 57.5 cents. This might seem like a bad day but we think GOFF held extremely well considering the huge amount of short sellers that tried to bring the stock down. Let us explain...
If you were watching the market today, you would have noticed the huge amount of market makers that were pushing the price down. These market makers were met by heavy institutional buyers that bought over 5 million shares in the high 50s from what we saw.
We expect shorts to cover shares that were shorted today in the very near term. Last week, when we called a short squeeze was going to happen, GOFF nearly surged 30% the next day. A bigger rise could happen as early as tomorrow.
