Leider habe ich nicht so stark wie andere verbilligt, aber immerhin sind auf einen Schlag die (zum Glück nicht realisierten) Verluste von 2 Jahren ausgebügelt, noch 2 Cent und ich hab meinen persönlichen Break-Even

Forlink Signs Contract to Support International Trade between China and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations)

After an extensive selection process, it contracted Forlink to develop a platform that supports online trading, online billing and payment, data warehousing, user authentication, customer care, etc. The contract is valued at proximately US$7.5 million.

Gründung und Ziele
Die ASEAN wurde am 8. August 1967 von Indonesien, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapur und den Philippinen gegründet. Vor dem Hintergrund des Vietnamkonflikts sollte die Gemeinschaft die Zusammenarbeit auf politischem, wirtschaftlichem, sozialem und kulturellem Gebiet fördern. Als Gegengewicht zum Ostblock und der kommunistischen Volksrepublik China sollte die Vereinigung für politische Stabilität sorgen und gleichermaßen den wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Fortschritt vorantreiben. Die wirtschaftlichen Erfolge waren schon bald sichtbar. Die durchschnittliche Zuwachsrate des Bruttoinlandsproduktes der Mitglieder beträgt durchschnittlich vier Prozent pro Jahr. Die Asienkrise 1997 bescherte dem rasanten Wirtschaftswachstum der ASEAN Mitglieder einen herben Rückschlag.
Höchstes Gremium der ASEAN ist die Konferenz der Staatsoberhäupter der Mitgliedsländer, deren Vorsitz alle drei Jahre nach dem Rotationsprinzip wechselt. Darüber hinaus werden Fachministertreffen abgehalten.
Bereits im Januar 1992 wurde auf dem Gipfeltreffen in Singapur die Errichtung einer Freihandelszone, der AFTA (ASEAN Free Trade Area) beschlossen. In 2003 trat das Abkommen voll in Kraft. Jedoch wurden in der Vorlaufphase bereits 90% aller Importzölle zwischen den Mitgliedern abgeschafft.
Auch über die Grenzen der Freihandelszone hinaus erfolgt die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung. So wurden Verhandlungen über ein Freihandelsabkommen mit Neuseeland und Australien aufgenommen. China hat bereits einen Handelsvertrag mit der ASEAN unterzeichnet

Wert der Firma 30 Millionen Yuan, d.h. die 12,5% von Forlink sind etwa 1 Millionen Dollar wert.
Mit unter den angegebenen Gründern auch 156net, d.h. indirekt besitzt Forlink so mehr als die 12,5%.

Ist ja grundsätzlich nichts neues, die Ankündigung gab es ja schon im Oktober.
Neu an der Nachricht ist aber:
- Der offizielle Start von Wuxi Stainless Steel Exchange am 23.11.2006
- Die Investition von 30 Millionen Yuan (3,8 Millionen Dollar) in Wuxi Stainless Steel Exchange durch die Gründungsfirmen
- Der Chef von 156net ist auch Vice Chef bei Wuxi Stainless Steel Exchange
- Außerdem kennt man jetzt die Gründerfirmen
- ....
