The New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) will present the 5th Annual Alternative Energy Conference on November 29, 2007.
Investment in alternative energy technology is soaring. Some analysts believe that many alternative energy stocks are over-hyped and overvalued. However, government support and demand from the global and national consumer markets continue to rise, enabling many companies to post healthy revenues and profits. Senior executives of some of the most innovative new energy technology companies debate these issues and the future of alternative energy technology.
The following companies are presenting:
Distributed Energy Systems (Nasdaq:DESC); Dynamotive Energy Systems Corporation (OTCBB:DYMTF); Echelon Corporation (NYSE:ELON); Ener1, Inc. (OTCBB:ENEI); FuelCell Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq:FCEL); MTI (Mechanical Technology Inc.) (Nasdaq:MKTY); Raser Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:RZ); Syntroleum (Nasdaq:SYNM); U.S. Geothermal Inc. (TSX: GTH; OTCBB: UGTH); and Westport Innovations Inc. (TSX:WPT).
The conference will be held on November 29, 2007, 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., at NYSSA, 1177 Avenue of the Americas, 2nd Floor, NYC. The registration deadline is November 22, $265 NYSSA members, $365 nonmembers. No charge for press with credentials.
