The bulls are relentless today, and we are getting to the point where just about everyone except for the fully invested buy-and-holders and the cheerleaders on CNBC are hoping we slow down a bit -- the bears for obvious reasons and the bulls so they will have a chance to put some cash to work without having to chase things into the stratosphere.
We are even starting to see some chest-thumping proclamations of victory from the bovine crowd, and I'm sure the market beast is making some notes and will dole out some humility in the near future. There is no question that the bulls are firmly in charge at the moment and fighting them is going to get you frustrated.
It is interesting to note that that even though oil reversed strongly intraday, it has had no impact on the market strength. If lower oil were the driver for the market rally, it apparently doesn't work in reverse as well.
