The Company was incorporated on the 15th of May 2006 for the purpose of securing exploration licences over land deemed prospective for bauxite mineralisation.

The Company has identified three separate projects areas which the directors believe may have the potential for the realisation of a economical bauxite resource. The Company has made application for 25 exploration licences covering these three project areas.  Two of these areas are in the world class bauxite region of the Darling Ranges of Western Australia. The Darling Range bauxite production accounts for approximately 17% of the total world alumina production and is the largest bauxite producing region in the world.  The third area is in the Kimberley region where existing world class bauxite resources have been defined but as yet have not been mined.  Bauxite / Alumina Strategy  The Company has applied for tenements in three project areas presenting different value propositions and exploration strategies with the primary aim being to initially identify economic bauxite resources.  In conjunction with local communities, environmental and key stake holders, the Company intends to carry out an intensive exploration program of resource definition in order to develop a sustainable bauxite export industry by direct shipping and to further assess potential resources with a view to the development of an alumina refinery.

Bauxite Resources macht  einen Riesen Sprung um 25 % auf 0,30 A$  

Wahrscheinlich die Folge der guten Personal News von gestern.   Ist die Frage, ob in Frankfurt überhaupt ein Handel stattfindet, denn bis jetzt gab es da noch keine Umsätze.  

BAU ist eine Bauxite Perle aus Australien, da kann man von Anfang an dabei sein, den kennt hier kein Börsenbrief,  bin mit 10000 Stck investiert und habe Ende Oktober in Australien geordert.

Nun ist es preiswerter, wenn man in Frankfurt handelt.

The Placement Offer will require a number of regulatory approvals in both Australia and China and also some conditions precedent to be satisfied. BRL will keep the market informed as material developments occur. A significant amount of due diligence has already been undertaken by Shandong over the last 5 months and BRL is finalising some amendments to the key terms of the Farm In and Joint Venture Agreements previously released to the market. The key amendment revolves around a proposed separate joint venture for “greenfields” exploration of 1000km2 out of BRL’s total existing tenement holding of around 13,500 km2 in the Darling Range. The BRL board advises that it will accept the Placement Offer subject to satisfactory agreement of these terms and the appropriate regulatory approvals. As the Placement Offer has been made by a Chinese government agency a formal submission has been made for FIRB approval. The FIRB guidelines provide that an application can take up to 30 days to process and longer in complex cases. Shandong have appointed BRL as their agent to obtain the FIRB approval and assist wherever possible with the application process. The Board is pleased to build upon the growing relationship with Shandong and views the Placement Offer as an extremely positive development for the Company. The cash injection would allow the Company to aggressively pursue its exploration program and its Stage 1 direct shipping operation. The Placement Offer will not require shareholder approval because it will be accommodated under the ASX rules which allow placements equivalent of up to 15% of current issued capital to be issued without shareholder approval.

war s ... damit dürfte das Projekt mit Weltklasseniveau endlich zum laufen kommen ... und, es besteht durch den Einstieg der Chinesen wohl kaum noch die Gefahr, dass einer der Großen sich die Firma zum Schnäppchenpreis einverleibt.

Hier kann man meiner Meinung nach bei etwas wahrlich großem von Beginn an dabei sein .. ich sag nur Fortesue!

Soll neue Shares geben! Der Zeitpunkt ist aber ideal, geht s danach hoch!
Meiner Meinung nach schon.

Ein weiterer wichtiger Meilenstein ist geschafft für BRL, die Finanzierung für die geplante Bauxitförderung ist gesichtert und somit wird aus dem Explorer Bauxite Resources (ASX:BAU) ein Produzent.

Ich rechne damit, daß nun weitere Investoren mit an Bord kommen, denn dieser Wert mit einem ausgezeichneten Management ist noch nicht auf den Radarschirmen zu finden. Zumindest in Deutschland ist Bauxit noch ziemlich unentdeckt. Erst in den letzten Wochen ist Bewegung in den Handel in Frankfurt gekommen.

BAU hat schon eine enorme Steigerung hinter sich aber die positive Richtung nach Norden ist meiner Meinung vorprogrammiert und vielleicht sehen wir Ende des Jahres schon die 2 Dollar.

Last week BRL conducted investor briefings in Sydney and Melbourne and over the course of 3 days met with approximately 65 fund managers and institutions that were clients of Petra Capital and BGF Equities. The investor briefings were a resounding success with extremely strong interest expressed in BRL and its projects.  As part of the meetings, BRL presented a summary of capital required to drive the cash costs in its DSO Operations down, increase its projected shipping tonnages and to conduct a Refinery Bankable Feasibility Study. The summary outlined in the Marketing Presentation released to the market on 8 September 2009 indicated that a range of $40-$60m could be used effectively to achieve the reduction in cash costs, increased projected tonnages and towards a Refinery Bankable Feasibility Study.

The very positive response to the briefings and consequent improvement in share price and volumes prompted the Board of BRL to proceed with an immediate capital raising. The Board resolved that it would raise $57 million through the issue of 60 million shares at 95 cents and this amount would meet the Company’s growth objectives.

The Board of BRL would like to thank both Petra Capital and BGF Equities for the professional manner in which they coordinated and assisted with the investor briefings.

The placement of the 60 million shares will require shareholder approval and BRL will shortly issue a Notice of Meeting requesting shareholder approval for the placement.

Diese Aktie ist eine Perle - woher hast du die bloß?

Bauxite Resources Ltd nimmt die Produktion auf mit Bauxit Lieferungen per Direkt Verschiffung nach China. In den nächsten Ausbaustufen wird die Tonnage erhöht. Bis 2013 soll eine Anlage eingeschmolzenes Aluminium herstellen das dann mit höheren Gewinnmargen verkauft werden kann.
Und wieder ist es ein verlassener thread in dem die bisher größte Chance schlummert die ich auf meiner Suche gefunden habe.
Dieser Explorer wird gerade zum Produzenten, so etwas muß man lange suchen.

Du bist hier nicht allein .. und mit "eine der größten Chancen" gebe ich Dir total recht! Klar, derzeit gibt s vor Ort einige Verstimmungen .. aber, wer sich allein mal die Liegenschaften anschaut, wird unschwer erkennen, wie start unterbewertet dieser Wert ist ... aber, hier interessiert man sich doch eh lieber für mehr oder weniger substanzlose Hüllen .....

.. und, in zwei Wochen geht mein neuer Highfligher an den Start .... das wird ein Spaß!

Aluminium wird nach der Subprime Krise im Verhältnis nicht weniger nachgefragt als andere Metalle. Was aber derzeit passiert ist eine langsame Umkehr der Produktionsverhältnisse. Chinas Bauxitresourcen gehen in den nächsten 10 Jahren zurück und die Importe werden steigen. Gleichzeitig gehen weltweit große Aluminium-Produzenten in Produktion. Dabei spielen die Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate eine herausragende Rolle, sie werden bis zu 14% der Weltproduktion liefern. Auf der Ebene der Explorer werden in den nächsten Jahren ebenso große Produzenten entstehen, wie hier Bauxite Res. die großes Potential haben. Diese gegenläufige Entwicklung, Chinas Importe ziehen an dabei wird ausserhalb Chinas die Produktion erhöht führt meiner Meinung nach mittelfristig zu nur moderaten Preisanstiegen, langfristig mit anziehen der Weltkonjunktur mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit zu weiter anziehenden Preisen. Dabei sehe ich es nicht ganz so wie von verschiedenen Profis analysieren, eine Korrektur des Aluminium-Preises auf uns zukommen, sondern wegen immer höherer Nachfrage aus den sogenannten Schwellenländern wie eben die BRIC - Staaten sie darstellen, alle Rohstoffpreise anziehen. Ein Vorläufer davon ist in Palladium zu sehen, einen solchen Preisanstieg sehe ich schon eher als bedenklich an, an Palladium hängt in der Hauptsache die Automotive Industrie mit Katalysatoren, aber auch Batterien bzw Akkus, sowie die Elektronik. Man kann die Börsen von 2007 bis Q3/2008 als Blase interpretieren, was zu einem Teil mit Sicherheit so zutreffend ist, die andere Seite ist aber die Entwicklung der Märkte besonders in den Schwellenländern die enormen Nachholbedarf gegenüber uns haben.
Zum Ausdruck kam das bei der Umweltkonferenz in Kopenhagen als die Chinesen gefragt wurde welchen Beitrag sie zur Erhaltung der Umwelt wegen der Erderwärmung leisten wollen, sie sagten darauf, wir machen es genauso wie der Westen das steht uns zu. Man kann nur hoffen, dass sich die Einsicht der großen Nationen die sich auf unser Niveau hinentwickeln nicht mit dem direkten Vergleich erschöpft.
Zurück zum Aluminium. Im Chart zu Bauxite Res. sieht man Ende März den steilen Kursabfall der nicht wie es aussieht ein Signal der sich kreuzenden Gleitenden Durchschnitte der 200 Tage und 38 Tagelinie ist, sondern Fundamental mit einer weiteren Umweltstudie zu erklären ist die von Amts wegen verlangt wird. Dabei wurde der Kurs um mehr als 50% eingedampft, eine gute Möglichkeit einzusteigen, denn Charttechnisch bildet sich langsam ein Trendkanal aus der so wie es aussieht die Kurse wieder nach oben konsolidiert. Bauxit Res. ist auf dem Weg zur Produktion, der kleine Rückschlag durch die weitere Studie, kann nicht das große Potential von Bauxite Res. schmälern, das wissen auch die Anleger. Auch denke ich kann es sich Australien nicht leisten einen so großen Bauxite Explorer länger auszubremsen. Im Vergleich zu anderen Minenbetrieben ist hier kein entscheidender Unterschied in der Abbautechnik zu sehen, als dass man daraus auf ein Fehlverhalten von Bauxite Res. schließen könnte. Sobald die DSO wieder im vollen Umfang aufgenommen wird, wird sich zeigen wohin die Reise geht, ich denke dann auf jeden Fall erstmal nach Norden!

Local, state and national environment groups, as well as several concerned residents groups have submitted appeals to the Minister for the Environment calling for a proper assessment of BRLs plans. the Wilderness Society State Director Peter Robertson said, This current assessment appears to be an attempt by BLR to seek approval by stealth, as it does not take in the cumulative community , environmental, economic and social impacts of such a massive mining expansion.

The maps of the proposed expansion encompass farming areas, town sites, state forests and the last vestiges of our threatened Jarrah and Wandoo forests.

As a new resources company, BRL has already created a poor community reputation for itself by commencing mining on minerals to owner lands in Bindoon without the necessary local government approval.

We are confident that if BRLs massive proposed mining expansion were to be assessed thoroughly and transparently then it would be found to be totally unacceptable on a range of environmental, social and economic grounds, concluded Mr Verstegen.

wird Bauxite Resource auf ca A$0,10 durchrutschen. Dann wäre laut den großen Börsengurus (investiere wenn alle verkaufen) der günstigste Einstieg, eine Bodenbildung vorausgesetzt, erreicht. Wer dann die Geduld aufbringt, auf die Wende zu setzen (bis zu 2Jahre), wird mehr als reichlich Belohnt. Denn von dort wo er herkommt, geht er auch wieder hin. Wahrscheinlich sehr, sehr schnell, die einzige unbeantwortete Frage ist, WANN?

Meine Bauxite-Position ist auch tiefrot, das Volumen megaschlapp (siehe auch bid/ask size). Mittel- bis langfristig kann es aber nur nach oben gehen - Aluminium ist eines der wichtigsten Industriemetalle und Australien ein rechtssicherer Staat! Der Verlauf bei Bauxite Res ist nach der anfänglichen Euphorie auch nicht so ungewöhnlich - erinnert stark an die "typische" Kursentwicklung eines Juniors.

In wie weit dort auch politische Erwägungen eine Rolle spielen wird man vielleicht noch sehen.
Meiner Meinung nach ist Bauxit Resource eine große "Bude", eine sehr große "Bude".
Bauxite Resource ist beides Explorer und angehender Produzent mit einer der größeren Bauxit Resourcen wird das sichtbar werden sobald die Probleme um die Umwelt gelöst sind. Der Chart gibt einen Eindruck davon wieder.
Der Markt straft diesen Wert wegen der Umweltprobleme ab, Unterbrechung der Förderung. Nicht weil er Potential vermissen läßt, ein temporäres Problem!

 Die Aktie ist schwer angeschlagen, schon weit unter dem Ausgabepreis. Die Frage stellt sich, wann eine Beruhigung und Klärung bzgl.  der Umweltprobleme sich einstellt und endllich von den Investoren die wahre Stärke und das Potential von BAU wieder wahrgenommen wird. 

Wie lange wird es dauern, bis eine Gegenbewegung einsetzt? Wenn grundlegende Probleme beseitigt werden, dann wird es m.M. heftig nach oben gehen, denn an der Qualität hat sich nichts geändert.

Threatened litigation
One recent event facing the Company is the threat of possible litigation by IMF (Australia) Limited (IMF). It has announced an intention to fund legal action against the Company by certain former and current shareholders.
I attach a document released by BRL to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) which provides some detail of our response to this threat. To briefly summarise:
• No legal proceedings have been commenced. IMF has said that it will fund litigation by shareholders only if
• IMF has the estimated losses by persons who sign up to funding agreements with IMF are sufficient to make the proceedings commercially viable for IMF.

• IMF does not say what the estimated losses are, or how they will be calculated. Nor does it explain what amount will be sufficient for it to elect to proceed to fund the proposed action. or former shareholders consider that they may have claims against BRL. IMF indicated that the claim may relate to the placement by BRL of 60 million shares on 30 October 2009. That placement was made exclusively with institutional and sophisticated investors.
Shareholders should not assume that any claim will seek to recover the total losses incurred on the sale of any BRL shares purchased in the share placement, or the difference between the placement price and the current listed price.
