Law Offices of Howard G. Smith Announces Investigation on Behalf of Investors of Canadian Solar Inc.
Law Offices of Howard G. Smith announces that it is investigating potential claims on behalf of purchasers of the common stock of Canadian Solar Inc. ("Canadian Solar" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:CSIQ) concerning possible violations of federal securities laws. The investigation focuses on allegations that the certain statements by the Company between May 26, 2009 and June 1, 2010, regarding the Company's business, operations and prospects were materially false and misleading.
On June 1, 2010, Canadian Solar announced that it was postponing the release of its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2010, as a result of the commencement of an investigation by the Audit Committee of the Company's Board of Directors. The Company further disclosed that the investigation was launched after the Company received a subpoena from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission requesting documents from the Company relating to, among other things, certain sales transactions in 2009.
If you purchased Canadian Solar common stock between May 26, 2009 and June 1, 2010, if you have information or would like to learn more about these claims, or if you wish to discuss these matters or have any questions concerning this announcement or your rights or interests with respect to these matters, please contact Howard G.
