....GoIndustry is the leading Online Industrial Machinery and Equipment Marketplace
GoIndustry floats on the
AIM market
We are pleased to announce our company's successful flotation on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market.
GoIndustry has joined AIM to raise the profile of the business as the leading online global marketplace for surplus industrial machinery and equipment.
It aims to use its shares to help finance organic growth and further acquisitions.
Established in 1999, GoIndustry has offices in 15 countries throughout Europe, North America and Asia. In 2005 GoIndustry arranged more than 600 on-site and online auctions generating net revenues of more than €30m. GoIndustry has built a global database of more than one million equipment buyers, which has enabled it to sell equipment into more than 75 countries in 2005.
Chief Executive John Allbrook said:
"Our scale and global presence puts us in an ideal position to take advantage of current market trends . . .
• More and more companies are relocating their production facilities to lower cost countries in their quest for "lean" manufacturing
• Corporate governance standards and the pressure on Capital Expenditure is rising
• Secured lenders increasingly require accurate equipment and inventory valuations
. . . accordingly the demand for our full range of asset management solutions is increasing.
We have an experienced team, which can provide all the valuation and auction services required by our customers. We also have a very scalable business model with the infrastructure to cope with much higher sales volumes.
By joining AIM we gain access to London's institutional investor base, which will help accelerate our growth.”
